My eyes were heavier than lead and my breathing was slow. A light beeping told me that I was on an I.V. But why? I didn't remember any crashes, or accidents, then again, most people don't right away. I forced my eyes open a slit, and instantly knew this was no regular hospital.
There was a young man standing over me. Once he saw that my eyes were open, his face contortioned to a smile, as if he was gazing at a young child. "Shh, it will be alright. You will outshine the others for you will have wings upon which to gaze upon." He said, sounding as if he was quoting a bible scripture.
