Characters:

Phoenixes
Kasai - one of the 8 heroes chosen by the Storm Spirits. She's fierce, loyal, and brave, but has a caring heart for friends and family.
Fuego - Kasai's younger brother. He may be shy, but he has Kasai's fiery temper and strong will. Don't underestimate him. Oh, and he speaks Spanish sometimes.
Fiebre - mother of Kasai and Fuego. She's super protective and caring of her family. She speaks only Spanish, but does understand some English. (Where do you think Fuego picked up his Spanish skills?)
Zestó - father of Kasai and Fuego. He's probably the most quick-tempered out of the family and is well-known for his fighting skills. He taught Kasai everything she knows about sword-fighting, and Kasai taught Fuego.
Hitze - one of the Lost Souls. He's a Loner. He has a bit of a German accent, but isn't too ferocious. He's more of a grumpy guy than a fierce fighter.

Centaurs/minotaurs/cervitars
Streak - a strong centaur with a big ego and an even bigger heart that is one of the 8. He's loyal, but often gets a little too full of himself, especially when he wants to impress. He has a bit of a country accent.
Lily - younger sister of Streak and twin sister of Tadpole. Lily is a kind, curious cervitar who just wants to help out...well, maybe do a bit of exploring too.
Tadpole - younger brother of Streak and twin brother of Lily. He's equally curious and often runs off to chase little animals or just explore the world around him.
Ala - cervitar mother of the three. She's kindhearted and has almost no temper at all. She loves all three of her children dearly and would give her life for them.
Clop - strong-willed centaur father of the three. He's almost as hotheaded as Zestó - almost. He has Ala to calm him down whenever he goes into a rampage.
Xander - strong minotaur that's a follower of Nuclear. He hates everything and everyone... I think that's enough info to determine his personality.

Sirens
Sasha - a shy siren without the will to sing. Sure, she sings when she has to; for example, if she's chosen to do the nightly singing, or if she's fighting; but if she had the option, she'd choose not to sing. She doesn't like what sirens are known for. She is also part of the 8.
Valerie - younger sister of Sasha and older sister of Rex. She's a little rebellious and daring, but not so rebellious she's mean. She tends to get a little feisty and defensive around others.
Rex - younger brother of Sasha and Valerie. He's not shy or rebellious, but he does get a little too excited easily. He does have a timid side, though.
Alex - longlost older brother of Sasha, Rex, and Valerie. He is now a follower of Nuclear...and a little more mean.
Dawn - (devastated) mother of Sasha, Rex, Valerie, and Alex. She often mourns for her lost son and is a little reclusive.
Aaron - father of Sasha, Rex, Valerie, and Alex. He's not as heartbroken as Dawn, at least not visually. He is still upset though. He takes charge of the house, so he has to be slightly strict.

Dragons
Zakk - a comedic dragon with a huge heart and a love for puns. He's one of the 8. He's pretty chill and cheerful...when he's around others. He's a little insecure about himself for more than one reason, but always strives to make his friends and father happy.
Billy - deceased younger brother of Zakk.
Reshia - abusive drunk mother of Zakk and Billy. No longer lives with Zakk.
Dak - protective father of Zakk and Billy. He'd do anything for his now only son...
Teresa - follower of Nuclear. She's pretty rash and very greedy.

Vampires
Cory - timid vampire that is also one of the 8. He has a few issues with his sanity because of the fact he doesn't feed the same way normal vampires feed. He does find alternatives, but they don't work as well. He sometimes treats Doug like a brother.
Ratka - mother of Cory. She's really protective and often tries to get him to feed like a normal vampire so he'll regain his sanity, but it never works.
Rick - deceased father of Cory.
Lucy - follower of Nuclear. She's a little silly at times, but can be TERRIFYING. She has trouble feeding because her fangs are abnormally larger than a normal vampire's fangs due to the corruption of the Forbidden Hills.

Griffons
Flash - one of the 8. She's kind of a punk and is often rude and harsh. She has more than a few hidden scars, but two she doesn't hide are one over her eye and one over her mouth.
Ray - deceased older sister of Flash.
Bella - abusive mother of Flash. Very strict and very mean.
Jay - abusive drunk father of Flash. Probably would kill her.
Red - follower of Nuclear. He's very attractive and has a huge ego. He's a bit harsh, too.

Nekos
Katie - cheerful kitsune neko and one of the 8. She's already hyper, but will get a sugar rush with even the smallest amount of sugar in her system. She might have issues...
Callie - mother of Katie. Kitsune neko. She's not as energetic as her daughter, but she does try to keep a positive attitude.
Walter - father of Katie. Kitsune neko. He's very proud of himself, his wife, and his daughter. ... very proud.
KitKat - actually Kit and Kat. Two little twin nekos that are followers of Nuclear. SUPER ADORABLE. They sometimes call Dokusei 'mommy' or 'mama' because of the fact she adopted them. They don't know their real parents...

Werewolves
Doug - quiet werewolf that is the final one of the 8. He's shy and timid, but has a fierce side to him if he's mad. Super protective. He sometimes treats Cory like a brother.
Orchid - cheerful little sister of Doug. She's super playful and energetic, if a bit shy at times.
Petra - kind mother of Doug and Orchid. She cares deeply for her children as any mother should.
Paul - father of Doug and Orchid. He's a little harsh at times, but means well.
Dokusei - closest follower of Nuclear. Basically second in command and often called and treated as a queen. DO NOT DISOBEY HER IF YOU WANT TO LIVE.
Rahasy - loner Lost Soul that works for the Storm Spirits. No one knows the gender they truly are because they wear a mask and rarely speak. Often called the "Masked Deliverer."

Storm Spirits
Snow - Spirit of Snow and Ice. He rules over the Snowy Mountains and commands ice and snow.
Lightning - Spirit of Lightning. He rules over the Lightning Valley and commands...well, lightning.
Thunder - Spirit of Thunder. Brother of Lightning. He rules over the Thundering Plains and commands thunder.
Rain - Spirit of Rain. She rules over the Rainy Prairie and commands the rain.
Sand - Spirit of Sand. She rules over the Sandy Desert and commands the direction of the sand (it's hard to explain, but you know like during sandstorms...yeah)
Wind - Spirit of Wind. She rules over the Windy Wasteland and commands the wind. She also helps Sand.

Gang Members
Líder Fosc (a.k.a. Fosc) - Fearsome gang leader. Lion neko. Male. A lean, mean, killing machine. Now partners with Nuclear.
Rosa - Second-in-command of the gang. Cheetah neko. Female. May or may not have a crush on Fosc.
Terry - Quick-tempered smuggler. Phoenix. Female. Hates Rosa.
Blake - Harsh smuggler. Werewolf. Male. Will rip your throat in half if you anger him.
Ash and Crash - Strong smugglers. Twin centaurs. Both male. Mostly there for their strength and speed.
Tori - Silent smuggler. Vampire. Female. Easily steals anything and anyone.
Yen - Comedic smuggler. Hyena neko. Male. Definitely insane...
Natalie (a.k.a. Nat) - "Cool" smuggler. Dragon. Female. Usually pretty chill.
Malorey (a.k.a. Mal) - Random smuggler. Griffon. Female. Sometimes crazy, sometimes not.

Gang Victims:
Breeze - Young runaway. Dog (husky) neko. Male. Escaped; wanted.
Flake - Mother of Breeze. Dog (husky) neko. Killed by the smugglers.
Frost - Father of Breeze. Dog (husky) neko. Killed by the smugglers.
Choco - Paranoid victim. Dog (breed unknown) neko. Captured; never escaped, recruited, or freed.
Kiki - Mother of Choco. Dog (breed unknown) neko. Killed by the smugglers.
Barry - Father of Choco. Dog (breed unknown) neko. Captured; never escaped, recruited, or freed.
Dessa - Tough victim. Siren. Captured; being considered for recruitment.
