The group had finally started going again. Almost everyone was annoyed with Kasai for making them wait so long.

Of course, Cory wasn't, and stayed very close to her...closer than before, even.

The rest of the group were discussing what Kasai's nightmare could've been about.

"Maybe it was about a pack of werewolves attacking us, since it was almost the full moon when she had the nightmare?"

"Or maybe vampires instead!"

"It wouldn't be vampires. Her boyfriend's a vampire."

"Well, still!"

"I think it was more than just her being attacked. Maybe she dreamed about her being controlled by something or someone to do the attackING."

"Naaaaaah."

The group continued chatting until Kasai couldn't take it anymore.

"THAT'S ENOUGH, okay? I don't want to hear any more discussion about this. Not now, not EVER." she snapped.

The rest immediately fell silent.

"...Kasai-" Cory started.

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT. UNDERSTOOD?" Kasai interrupted.

Cory gulped. "...u-understood."

"Talk about a drama queen..." Flash whispered.

"No kidding.." Zakk agreed. "But you gotta admit, she's got FLARE."

"Zakk..."

He snickered. "Finally made a pun."

Her face reddened slightly.  It wasn't just the pun that annoyed her.  The way he said that made it sound like he liked Kasai...

...no, there's no time to focus on that.  Kasai deserves the...er...compliment?  If that's even what it is...

"Yeah, yeah." she groaned.

Things got too quiet too fast.  Tension still lingered in the air from Kasai snapping at everyone.  Something really felt amiss.

Breeze, who had temporarily taken the lead, suddenly tensed and whined.

The group stopped to look at him.  "Breeze?  You okay?" Kasai asked.

Breeze gulped before saying the three words he's been dreading having to say this whole time.

"...they're right there."
