Of course, the group was back at Nuclear's lair the next day.
It was easy to get in and find Lightning, considering this whole ordeal had happened before. They were quite familiar with the place now.
Of course, they had to be caught by Nuclear again.
"You... why are YOU here again!?"
"Take a guess, bigshot." Flash muttered sarcastically.
"And you were saying before?" Lightning said with a smirk.
Nuclear glared, then realized. "...wait a moment. You seem to be missing a couple people." He smirked now.
Lightning paused and looked back at the group. "...where are Kasai and Katie?"
"Katie's escourting two dog nekos back to the village, but...we don't know where Kasai is..." Cory said quietly.
"Oh? What a shame. Poor Kasai's gone missing. How curious." Nuclear hissed. "Well, it isn't really a fair fight now then, is it? And we all know how I love to play fair."
"Yeah, right. You're anything BUT fair." Lightning snapped.
Nuclear cut him off with a sharp glare. "SO I will let you go. This time. But don't expect it to happen again. I will NOT give up until I have CONTROL over this world. Do you hear me? I will stop at NOTHING to rule Hadari. NOTHING!"
"Keep rehearsing that in the mirror a couple hundred times. We're leaving." Lightning complained, already starting to leave the room with the group close behind him. Nuclear gritted his teeth.
"Fine. Leave then. I'll defeat you eventually."
And with that, he left as well.
