"Okay, this is bad. First I was captured. Now Lightning's missing." Snow started.

It's been at least a few months since Snow had been rescued by the eight friends. He, thankfully, recovered and was now back to helping rule over Hadari. He, however, was worried now that they had just found out Lightning was missing. Lightning storms can be much more deadly than snow storms, even though both can be deadly when they get out of hand. That wasn't his only concern, though. He still remembered how badly he had been treated while he was captured. If Lightning had been captured by Nuclear and Dokusei too...

...he forced that thought out of his head.

"...it is a problem. But at least we have a vague idea of where he could be this time." Rain pointed out.

"I don't know. I don't think Nuclear would be dumb enough to capture one of us again after his last defeat. He knows his lair would be the first place anyone would look." Sand muttered.

"COULD WE STOP ARGUING ABOUT THIS AND GET HELP!?" Thunder boomed. "MY BROTHER COULD BE IN DANGER. I'M NOT GOING TO SIT AROUND AND COMPLAIN AND ARGUE."

"Calm down!" Wind spoke up. "We aren't going to get anywhere if you don't!"

Thunder just rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, grumbling under his breath.

"Maybe the eight that helped last time could help again?" Rain suggested quietly.

"If they were strong enough to fight Nuclear and his followers once, they should be strong enough to do it again if they DO have Lightning." Snow reasoned. "And they should definitely be strong enough to face whoever else might have him, if anyone does."

The others nodded in agreement before calling for Rahasy and instructing them to call the eight back once again.

Breeze panted as he wandered through Lightning Valley again. Lightning bolts flashed everywhere, but he ignored them and dodged them whenever he had to.

"Huh. Way more than there usually is. Eh, whatever. I'm sure it's just me."

He raced through the area, but immediately froze and hid when he noticed a campfire lit nearby and two centaurs standing guard.

"Oh no...they're here..."

A lion neko laughed victoriously as he stood in front of the group. "Finally, we captured him! Lord Nuclear will be so proud of us!"

A cheetah neko spoke up. "Hear-hear! We're the best smugglers in Hadari! No one can stop us!" she roared.

The rest of their group gave loud, triumphant cheers and roars.

"We shall rule Hadari!"

"No one is worthy to even stand on the same ground as us!"

"Victory shall be ours!"

The lion neko raised his hands in the air to calm the group. "For now, we must rest. We've got a lot to do tomorrow." He looked at the two centaurs. "Ash! Crash! How's it looking?" he called.

"All clear!" one centaur said.

"Yep, no one in sight for miles around!" the other confirmed.

"Good. We'll change out guards shortly. For now, stay where you are."

"Yes, sir!"

The group returned to their individual tents. Breeze whined as he watched.

"... this is bad."

He ran in the other direction, afraid of the inevitable doom that would soon arrive.
