Ross's POV
this is literally so great. Wow life is amazing. -_- Laura's in the hospital and vanessa doesn't seem approving of me anymore.
"Doctor is she going to be okay?" Vanessa looked so worried her face was bright red and she was sweating.
"Well u-um it seems as if laura had a small concussion. She can only remember things from a while ago were not sure how long ago but were guessing about two weeks." The doctor explained
"So you're saying everything in the past two weeks she forgot?" I asked
"Exactly." Replied the doctor
"So what do we do to help her?" Asked vanessa
"Treat her normally. Also try to give her memories of the past two weeks. Make her feel at home. Eventually she will remember everything so it's not serious at all."
"Wow that's great! Lets go home!" I exclaimed.
"Not so fast young man. We still need to run a few more tests and then you will be off." The doctor said.
"Aw man! About how much longer?" I asked
"Well it could be at least another two hours. Extremely sorry" he said as he left
"Great no what are we supposed to do?I really want to see laura."
"You don't think I do too?" Vanessa snapped at me.
"I never said you didn't."
"Well stop acting like you're the only one here who cares about laura."
"Oh so now Im supposed to sit back and not care about her?"
"No but you could at least let a big sister do her job!"
"Laura is so important to me and I don't care if you don't want me to care about her. I will care about her, I will worry for her and you can't stop me!"
"Why are you suddenly caring about laura? Are you guys secretly dating?"
"No but ever since your parents death, I've been taking care of her when YOU weren't there for her!" crap... I just realized what I said because before I knew it vanessa ran out of the room crying.
"Ness!! Come back! Vanessa!" Riker ran after her. I knew if I came it would've made things worse so I sat on the seat and slowly fell asleep.
*3 hours later*
I wake up to find laura next to me. Her head was resting on my shoulder. I slowly wake her up. "Laura, laura wake up lets go home." She wakes up and kisses me. Wow that's a new one. "Laura, do you remember me?"
"Yes, I remember everything about you. How sweet you are, how kind, how sympathetic you are toward others, everything about you."
Slowly we both lean in for a kiss. Right then we both start making out with each other. She bit my lip oh my god that turned me on like a light switch. Then she put her tongue in and I followed right after. This felt so right and I didn't want to ever kiss anyone else again. Then she started tugging on the back of my hair.
A few minutes later I wake up to realize rydel was standing in front of my pulling my hair from the top as hard as she could trying to wake me up. "ROSS! Wake up!"
"I'm up I'm up. What'd I miss?" I rubbed my eyes and slowly got up
"Only 15 missed calls from mom, 24 texts from me, 16 texts from dad 19 calls from riker and 23 calls from vanessa. And also laura has to stay here overnight." She explained
"How could I sleep through all of that?" I was still so tired
"Well i don't know you're a real deep sleeper. I tried everything I could to wake you up. You'd think if have a few tricks up my sleeve after 18 years." She laughed
"So why does laura have to stay her overnight?" I ask
"Something went wrong with the tests and they're saying she can't even remember family now."
"Well her parents are dead..." I murmur
"Yeah well aren't we family to her? She can't remember any of us. Not me, not you, not Stormie. And she doesn't know who vanessa is anymore." She explains and her face turns extremely sad.
"This is more serious than he said. I really wanted to take her home and get out of this place." I complain
"Come on lets go home. We need a good nights rest."
"I'm gonna go see laura from the window I want to see hows shes holding up." I say
"Okay I'll be in the car." Then she walks to the car and I walk to the room.
From the window I quietly whisper "come on laura, you can do it, remember us, remember me, remember vanessa. We love you. I love you." Then I head off to the car.
