"Hidden love"

My heart stops for a second. I saw you there.

You didn't look my way; you looked at her,

Your smiles were sweet, but I know it's not for me

I started to feel the pain and hiding it was not easy.

I glance away to make myself better,

To regain my heartbeat, I looked at the other,

I persuade myself you're not my forever,

And promise me to see you never.

But I heard your voice calling out my name,

I hastily faced you with a smile on my face.

All the hurt vanished, but just in a minute,

When I see you holding her hand, my heart again skips a beat.

I faked a smile and then you said hi, your words echoed in my head.

You introduced her to me and said she's your girlfriend.

What else could I say, I nodded and said okay.

But deep inside, you'll never know, you'll throw my heart away.

Though you knew me as a friend, my eyes will always be set on you.

No matter how hard it is, in my dream, you are my beau.

Maybe time will come; you'll realize how much I love you.

And my heart for you will forever be true.
