"I don't care!" Haru looks up. A confused look was on her face as she stares at her mother. Her mother was driving down the road. She was holding a finger to her ear piece. She was shaking her head as she was listening to whoever was on the other line.

She placed one hand on her forehead, as she kept her other on the wheel. "I told you, that Rumiko needed that dress!" She spat angrily. Haru's mother stopped at a red light. And gritted her teeth. "You know...if I lose my job over this. I am going to make sure you will regret this!"

Haru watched as her mother cancelled the call, by pressing the button on her ear piece with force. The car grown quiet. Haru frowned as she stared out the window of the car. Watching as people walking down the sidewalk. The black haired girl, wished she could just get out of the car and walk away. She knew her mother truly didn't want her to be there.

Haru was wearing a plain light green t-shirt today. Along with a black floral skirt and green sneakers. On the top of her hair was a green hairband, that had a small red rose that was attached to the band. In her arms. She held her digimon partner tightly. Epipamon seemed to be her only comfort at the moment.

The plant based digimon stared up at Haru. She placed a hand on her arm. Haru looks down at the rookie and smiled softly. She mouthed the words 'thank you'.  Epipamon nodded and stared out the window. The plant digimon was quite festinated with the human world. Ever since she got here. She wanted to study all kinds of different human things. Such as television. How do they fit, miniature human beings inside a small box? Without the fear that they will die out.

Haru's mother stares up in her rearview mirror. She grimaces as she stares at her daughter. "Eh...." She groans. Haru looks up at her mother and frowns. She grabbed her notebook that she had sat down next to her. And began to write out. What's wrong?  When her mother stopped at another stop light. She held up her notebook. To show her mother. "Your what's wrong." She snapped angrily.

Haru's eyes grew wide. "How do you think it makes me feel to have a daughter like you?" She asked angrily narrowing her eyes. Haru didn't move, to respond using her notebook. All she could do was stare at her mother through the rearview mirror. "You are such a waste of my time. Having a daughter who requires a hearing aide. You are nothing like Rumiko's daughter. She attends a private school, and is one of the top students in her class. But you...you are such a mistake." She grumbled as the light turns green once again.

Haru hands fall down to her knees. She felt like crying uncontrably there. But she fought back against the tears. She tried her best to stay strong. But she could still feel some tears fall from the corner of her eyes. "I'm sorry" She tried to say. But it almost came out as a weird murmur. She still had a hard time speaking without hearing her own self. This only set her mother off more.

"And that's another thing!" She shouted angrily. "You can't even speak probably. You relay on a stupid little book. Epipamon, was narrowing her eyes. She so much wanted to say something to Haru's mother. She wanted to tell the woman to shut up. To tell her, that her daughter was an amazing person. And a good friend. Just because she had disabilities doesn't make her any less of a human being.

But she kept quiet. Not because she was afraid. But because she knew Haru wouldn't want that. Her mother wouldn't care less of what she had to say. She would probably not even notice her talking. Haru's mother had one last thing to say. "The only reason why I bring you along with me is. Is so that you can help me keep this job. When you spend time with Rumiko's daughter. I feel like it helps me move up, on Rumiko's team."
