(Nikki)'s POV

Oh my goodness, I am so freaking bored! My phone is low battery so it is charging in my room. My mom promised me she will buy me and Krishna some butter-flavored waffles for my snacks. Where is she? What's taking her so long? Was the queue in the grocery that long? It can't be that long like it takes 1 hour to wait and stand in the line. I have a feeling that she maybe out with her friends.

N-no! She would never break a promise. She did say she would go home at 5:00 sharp. I'm so lonely right now, Krishna's still asleep upstairs in our room.

I feel worries so I rushed upstairs to me and Krishna's bedroom. "Wake up!!" I keep on pushing her back and forth. She opened her eyes, her grass colored green eyes still half-closed. "What do you want?" I frowned. "Mom hasn't return yet!" Krishna's eyes Became wide and round as saucers. "W-what! Are you serious! She promised! We gotta call for help!"

We started to panic, we ran outside, packing our stuff. We had to find for mom, even though we get lost since we don't even memorize the avenues, or roads in this country and it's very cold in Japan. We packed our jackets and trench coats.

-2 hours later-

Our legs became like noodles. We are so tired of walking. We even paid fares for train rides. I t-think were lost. I don't even know where or what road we are at. I forgot how to go home! "Any signal, sis? Mind if detecting on what corner we are at?" Krishna started to drink water. We even packed food from the fridge but I don't think it's enough.

Oh no........"Uh, Krishna sister, I'm afraid that there's no signal in here, so apparently I can't detect!" I noticed there's a Matsuri Festival ongoing. It was night time, good thing I packed our costumes for the festival.

"W-we have to go to the festival, K-Krishna! It's traditional." Nikki flinched. "Ugh! Let's just find a house, or a small room to rent, I just hope it's cheap." Krishna rolled her eyes. We saw a small house with a banner that said "FOR RENT, ¥5 ONLY" Me and Krishna looked at each other with smirks. It's totally cheap, I knew it. I snapped. We saw a man whose age is pretty much similar to 29 years old. We came close to him. "Can we live here, sir?" We politely reached out our hand, with the Japanese yen on our palm. "How on earth did you kids get money?" He narrowed his eyes. His eyes were full of curiosity, awaiting for our answer. "N-no, sir! It's not what you think....our mom went missing and we're gonna have to investigate....." Krishna replied. "Do....you even have a home?" He asked. "Yes we do, and we kinda forgot how to go home since I don't memorize the rods and avenues in here, plus I'm just a tourist from San Diego." The man looked at Nikki. "And it is currently warm in San Diego at this time, you know?"

He backed up a bit, sweating at our response. "O-ok! You girls c-can stay....Gee....cle-clever....I got some b-businesses to do." He ran away, leaving the area. We smirked in victory. "Did he just say were clever? He's shy reaction was so cute!" Little did Krishna know, that Nikki was daydreaming about the mysterious man. Krishna gestured her hand in front of my face. "Snap out of it, knucklehead!" Krishna snapped. "Wha-Ok...ok!" She uttered. We unpacked our stuff. Good thing there were two beds. But no pillows either blankets. Good thing we got some. We settled them on the beds. After unpacking our stuff, we dressed up in our matsuri costumes and pampered ourselves in a few make up. We saw many food stands and ladies and kids dressed up in their gashas. We joined in.

-time skip: 5:58 PM-

The festival was over, it was exaggerating and fun for us and the other people. We went back to our house: the rented house. We took home fishballs and takoyakies. Yum, best dinner ever. We went to sleep on our beds.

-Veir's POV-

Hey everyone, just to let you know that this scene happened from his home connecting to krishna and Nikki's 'rented home'.......

VEIR

Dear Diary

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? I-I AM BECOMING MORE INSANE THAN BEFORE....SO UNSUAL...........I'M ALREADY LIKE A PSYCHOPATH RIGHT NOW.....I'M SO OBSESSED WITH (Y/N) RIGHT NOW. I GUESS I'VE GOT AN UNHEALTHY OBSESSION . ITS LIKE MY LIFE IS NOW PERFECT WHEN (Y/N)'s LOVE FOR ME IS HUGGING LIKE A SMOOTH AND SILKY BLANKET THAT WAS VERY COMFORTING.

~Veir

My insaneness is affecting my brain, it's like it's jogging my mind. Like I can't even make any simple decisions for now. You know what.....I JUST WANNA KILL HER COUSINS RIGHT NOW....Wait, I'll just keep them for minds leaves for fun...I giggle. I get some sharp scissors from Uncle Tommy's office in his room. Uncle tommy actually lives in my mom's house.

(WATCH OUT EVERYBODY, GORE IS HAPPENIN')

I tackled Uncle Tommy while he was just sitting down on his chair, reading a book about ancient history, I didn't really care what he was reading anyway. "AHH!!...VEIR, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I suddenly let go, he tried to grasp for air, saliva flowing down from his lower lip like he was choking. "Answer me first, young man! Or you're grounded for a month, Veir!" The tackled man pointed his finger at me. "And....since when were you in charge, hmm?" I said, my thoughts were full seductiveness and insanity. I raised the sharp scissors at him. "Now, innocent soul, don't scream." He yelled but I cut off his scream in agony by stabbing him in the neck. The blade of the scissors go directly in his neck making blood come out and making him squirm even more.

After a few seconds, his eyes closed right away. He died, because of me. I just have to find them.........maybe they are in a matsuri festival. Heh, they think I can't locate them. Ha! But not! I grabbed my leather sling bag from my Victorian styled closet and packed in my knife and the pair of sharp scissors that I used on killing my uncle. I can't even stop my insane killing spree right now at this time.

I smirked at the door that was behind me, that door was a passageway to the basement. Not even my mom or uncle Tommy hasn't been there, but except me because I know the secrets of this abandoned and old house.

I first examined the basement where I found some spare broken pieces of root beer and glass, a multi-purpose rope, some white handkerchiefs, and a pole near it.

I went back and the left the house. "Here I come, little brats~" I whispered to myself, walking on the road. There were only a few people around. Maybe because some are attending the festival right now.

-4 hours later-

I panted continuously, my legs gave  up of waking too much, I mean Uncle Tommy's car broke down. And I have no single idea why. I have finally arrived at the Matsuri Festival at last. There so much people, I went around the food stands, I couldn't see them. I still remember their faces. I saw a bunch of houses that were for rent after I already passed by the festival. They have to be in one of the houses. I tried to knock on the first house. A screech was heard from the door. And a girl with brunette hair popped out. "Uhh....w-who are you supposed to be, sir?"

And suddenly a girl with blonde hair came out. "Who the heck is he? What are you doing here, stranger!" Gee, didn't their damned mother teach them how to respect their elders? I grabbed my baseball bat and raised it. "You're the one who's taking my love away from me!" I announced. The girls were about to protest. After I knocked them out.........they started to black out.
