Chapter 11: Veir's Basement

I decided to Skype with Krishna and Nikki since it's my semester break at my school. I pressed the call button on the contact of Krishna and Nikki. They can't answer. What? Something is strange? How come they can't respond? I thought they'd be free since their already leaving tomorrow for New York.......

"(Y/N)! Come down here!!" Aunt Alexa called out rushingly. I went down as fast as I could. It could be an emergency or an urgent. "Check this out, dearie! Aunt Emily........is..." Her voice became shaky. Heck. "D-DEAD!!" She fell on the floor, crying hardly. I came close to her to give her some comfort. "S-SHE WAS M-MY ONLY MY BEST FRIEND IN H-HIGHSCHOOL! We've ssss....sticked together through thick and thin!!" She even cried more after I've patted her back. "I-its okay!" I've had nothing to say rather than that. She ran upstairs in all of the sudden. "W-wait!!" I sighed. What could've happened to Aunt Emily? I decided to go upstairs to her room and continue to comfort Aunt Alexa.

"D-do you want me to cook pancakes and bring you a glass of juice, auntie?" I asked her, making my voice soft and comforting for her. Since she didn't answer me, then I'll take that as a yes.

-time skip: 11:00 PM-

Gee, it's getting late....I sigh in disbelief, for the death of Aunt Emily, the mom of Krishna and Nikki. I went upstairs, holding a small plate of pizza and a glass of grape juice. For me, I guess that will make her feel a bit better. Well, I just hope so....

"I-I'll call V-Veir!" I quickly grabbed my phone and pressed the contact of him to call.

"H-hello?" A pale voice of a man vibrated on my phone.

"Veir!" I squealed happily, for the last few minutes I was so bored. I had no one to talk to. Considering Edina had too much projects to focus on so she doesn't have time to chat for me.

"U-uh, what is i-it?" I noticed that Veir's voice became shaky.

"Can I come to you're house?" I'm so hyper right now because I had nobody to talk to. "O-oh! And ha-have you heard that someone killed Aunt....Emily"

For some reason, the name of my aunt, came out loud and clear in Veir's ears. His face turned pale. "U-uh su-" I guess he dropped the phone. How rude. I stormed outside the house and went to Veir's house. I knocked roughly on the door.

I hear knocking from the gate. "I'll be right back, girls." I smirked huskily. Nikki untrustingly rolled her eyes at me rudely as she nodded slowly. What a brat, Nikki Carpenter. I opened the door, it appears (Y/N). She smiled widely. More likely, excited to see me. I guess she's learned to love me

"Hey-heya......" I am so nervous right now. What if (Y/N) finds out that I have her cousins at my basement? Why do I have to even worry about that damned reason anyway? She never even knew that I had a basement!

"(Y/N)!!" I heard screams, but where did those things come from. After I blinked my eyes, the screams that I heard suddenly went silent in the scenery. Strange . Heh, m-maybe I am ju-just ha-hall-hallucinating....Hahaha!

"Hey, (Y/N), dearie, I-I'm kinda tired, can you just explore my house on your own?" He ask, yawning continuously. "Alright then..." I left Veir, he seems sleepy and tired. Did he even do anything tiring today? I don't wanna know....

I heard a notification from my iPhone. It's a text.........

From Krishna and Nikki........

Ha....It's about time they had to answer me. I enter our chat room.

-Chatroom: Nikki, Krishna, (Y/N)-

It's about time, you've answered me. Where are you? What's going on?

K: We are in Veir's basement, (Y/N)....HELP US!

N: Yes!! Hurry up, this Veir guy is very awkward when we socialize with him!

Yes I'll be there........Ha! Silly, and idiotic Veir, I know whew his basement his. He texted me where his basement his. If he is thinking to himself that I don't know his basement is, then why did I even have to get to know him.

I tried to open the door. Locked. Just great, (Y/N), just great. Maybe I'm the one who has the half of the stupidness and stubbornness. I think. Apparently, I don't even have the key to unlock the door.
