Letters To You -Book 2

Gryffindor!

Dear Anna,

When we arrived at Hogwarts, Hagrid took all of us first years across the lake. Then we saw Hogwarts, it is amazing! Simply magical.

Then us first years went inside and met Professor McGonagall. She then led us into the Great Hall. It was magical! It had a enchanted ceiling that made it look like clouds!

Us first years then walked down the middle aisle to the front of the room where a long table was put. At the table all of the professors sat, looking down on us. And in the middle was Professor Dumbledore! I can tell we are going to get along perfectly.

In Front of the Professor's table sat a stool and a worn out hat. After the hat sang, yes it talks, his song, Professor McGonagall called out our names and we had to sit on the stool. The hat was then placed on our heads. The hat then went through our heads or something and saw our future? I'm not sure what he did.

The only thing I knew at the moment was that I didn't want to be Slytherin (Bad people). So I kept repeating "Not Slytherin, anything but Slytherin." And the Hat LISTENED! And I was placed in Gryffindor!

I think Professor Dumbledore was proud. So far I am only cautious about one Professor, and that's Snape. He keeps glaring at me. Ron's brothers, Fred and George, say he teaches Potions but he has wanted the Dark Arts job forever. Creepy.

I also have two friends, Ron and Hermione. She's a little nerdy, but I think we'll get along fine.

Enough about me! How are you? Can you send a picture of yourself for Hermione?

That whole process sounds too complicated for me. I don't think I would have been able to do it!

I didn't have to go through all of that! We don't have Houses or whatever. We do have years though! This school is so boring! It's all proper and not...ME! And we have these ugly uniforms! It's a DRESS! I'll send a picture of the uniform.

And I think you'll LOVE Professor Dumbledore. And I wouldn't worry about Snape. I'm sure it's just something in the past. And you have a female friend? ;) Wink Wink! I'm just messing.

And you want a picture of me? Ok? Has Ron smitten on me! ;)

Tell me about his brothers. Are they goody two shoes?

I'm fine, I guess. All of the teachers know-. I mean, are very nice. I'm ace-ing everything. Even Dark Arts, which is just normal spell casting. We live in the Castle (School). And there is a forest on the edge of the school, but we aren't aloud to be in it. So naturally, I've already been in! :D

It's not that bad! I don't know why they don't want us in there. The other day I found a little cat looking thing. But it was pink, and circular. I named him Pinkie. I'll send my owl, Solar, with a picture of me in the gastley uniform and Pinkie.

Knowing you, I bet you wouldn't have been able to handle it all. And you say you don't have houses? Interesting. And we have uniforms too! But they aren't dresses... Lol. We have robes, and under it we wear sweaters and pants. Skirts for girls.

I'm sure I'll be fine on the Snape matter. And no, I don't see Hermione like that. >.<

Yes we want a picture of you. And I don't know if Ron is Smitten. He did blush whenever he read it.

umm, Fred and George? They are so not goody goody. They are the school's pranksters. I'm sure you three would get along!

A pink circular cat thing that you named Pinkie? I like it. Sounds the opposite of you, which is why you like it. Thanks in advance for the pictures! Got to go! Dinner!
