Excited. A word best described as being enthusiastic, or eager. And that's what Ethan was... excited. All throughout the day, he bounced with a little pep in his step, smiled a little more, felt the need to laugh a little louder.

The only reason for that extra jump with each step was because of the notorious embrace that had him question everything. Every small little thing, whether it be the transparent giggles or the small little simpers, he questioned it all. Because he really didn't know what to expect from her anymore. That straightforward grasp, the way her digits dragged across the nape of his neck, traveling down to his chest. He grew flustered just reminiscing about the idea of her body coming into contact with his again.

And that's why tonight was so important to him, because of all this. All the damn overthinking he had been doing for the past week. It's why he now stood in front of the mirror, staring back at his reflection, clad in his Halloween costume.

He slicked his hair back with his hand and placed the mask over his head, taking one last glimpse into the mirror before fully masking his features. Becoming... invisible, a feeling he never felt neglected from.

"Ethan!" Tyler called out to him from down the hall, "Are you ready?"

Ethan sucked in a quick breath, "Uh huh."

Footsteps followed after his response and Tyler stood under the doorframe, dressed in his costume. He went a little cliché, but who could blame the guy? He had the body type for his inspiration and his outfit proved exactly that. The blue tights that hugged his muscular legs, the huge yellow 'S' that stretched across his torso, fitted with a red cape that draped across his back. He was... Superman.

"Tyler," Ethan muttered, looking at Tyler from head to toe. "That costume is so... tight."

Tyler couldn't contain his laugh, "Yeah, I probably should've gone a size bigger." He then flexed his muscles slightly, the fabric stretching along with his movements.

"You think?"

He shrugged and styled his curly locks in the mirror, "Is Mark ready?"

As if on cue, Mark followed in and grinned. He had fitted into a pair of black tights, a yellow belt wrapped around his waist, the known black cape latched onto his shoulder blades. The dark-colored mask placed on his eyes as he pressed his hands to his hips. Mark decided to go as Batman.

"Nice costume." Tyler complimented.

"Thanks, man." Mart averted his attention to Ethan, "I like your costumes too."

Ethan peered down at his costume, feeling uncomfortably tight in his outfit. The red spandex clung to his skin and had him feeling he wasn't wearing much when in reality, every inch of his body was covered. A silver embroidered spider was designated in the middle of his torso and the small black lines shot through the stitching of the fabric. He was Spider-Man, and with being the friendly neighborhood hero, he was hidden away from everyone. No one could figure out his identity behind the mask.

"You two ready to go?"

Ethan checked the time, it was a little past 10:30 P.M. "I'll drive."

Mark coughed, "You don't plan on drinking?"

The blue boy smiled behind the mask, "No, I plan on remembering tonight."

The place was a lot more crowded than he hoped and expected it to be. His invitation seemed a little random and as if she offered her address up to anyone since there had to be at least over a hundred people circling through the room and backyard. Whether they were university students, randoms, or party goers, they all had one thing in common - they came to party.
