Chapter 1 A Helpful Hand

Hi! My name is Luna Moon. I'm a reporter. My boss is Ms. Lurane. She hates me. Well she hates my family. I also have a butler named Vinncent. Right now I'm going to the Phantomhive Manor. I have to interview Ciel Phantomhive. And for some reason that name sounds really familiar to me.

Once I arrived at the Phantomhive Manor, my door opened. I looked up and saw a man smiling a goofy smile at me.

"Hello Ma'lady. My name is Sebastian Michaelis. I'm the Phantomhives' butler. I will be assisting you today." He introduced himself. "And you are?"

"Oh. Silly me! My name is Luna Moon. And this is my butler, Vinncent." I said. Vinncent got out of the carriage and put his hand out for my to grab. I accepted it. Sebastian had a distinguished look on his face. Vinncent noticed. I really didn't care.

Once we were all inside the manor, three servants came. They all introduced themselves.

"Hello Ma'lady!" One of them said. "My name is Finny!"

"Nice to meet you Finny! I'm Luna Moon!" I replied. I also met Mei Rin, and Bard. Sebastian told us to follow him to his master's studies. He knocked on the door and Ciel said come in. Once that door opened, I saw a face I thought I'd never see again.

"Master?" My butler Vinncent asked me.

Ciel's head shot up and looked at me. I couldn't move, I could't speak. But I know that this wasn't the one that I was with me when I was kidnapped. That's when I met Vinncent. He's a demon cat, also my butler. I made a contract with him. If you move my hair on my left eye, you can see that my eye color is a light bright blue. Going around the eye color is a star and in the middle is a cat.

I blinked and nodded telling Vinncent that I'm fine. Ciel broke the silents. He got up and smiled at me. He walked towards me. Once he was near me, he took my hand that didn't have my notebook and pen, he put it up to his lips and kissed my hand gently. When he finished I could still feel the warmth of his lips.

"Good morning Ma'lady. To my guess, you already know who I am." He said smiling. One thing I knew was that, his smile was fake. But that kiss was real. Another thing was that his butler didn't like what he did. Sebastian seems to not like me nor Vinncent. I just don't know why.

"Yes I do. All I have to do today is ask you a few questions. If you don't mind." I asked shyly.

"Master? Would you like some time alone with Lord Phantomhive?" Vinncent ask me. Ciel looked up at him. I nodded not taking my green eye off of Ciel. Sebastian and Vinncent left Ciel's studies so we could talk. Once they left, Ciel and I sat down so I could interview him.

"First things first. This might be a stupid question." I said slightly blushing.

"It's fine. I don't mind any question you ask me, Lady Luna." Ciel said with a slight chuckle. That made me blush even more.

What's wrong with me? 

Why am I feeling this way?

Maybe because when I was kidnapped I was with the same boy. But that boy was family to me. Until they killed him. That I wish I could just forget. I smiled slightly and looked at my notebook.

"Ok. First question is; How are your servants been treating  you?" I asked looking at him.

"Fine. I guess... But can I ask you a question?" Ciel said leaning closely to my face.

"Ok. Go ahead." I said slightly scared.

"Would you like to live here? In my manor?" Ciel said removing the notebook and pen from my hands.

"Um... why?" I questioned him.

"Why would you want to work for someone that beats you for coming home to late?" He smirked.

"How did you know about that?!" I asked slightly scared.

"I can see your scars. And besides, that lady you work for was the one that killed your parents. Sebastian and I found out that she was the one that has been killing couples that work for her." He explained.

I sat there shocked. Did I forget that Ciel Phantomhive was the Queens Guard Dog?

No!!

"How am I going to tel-?"

"Forget about her." Ciel cut me off. "Sebastian will tell her that I hired you as one of my maids." Ciel said getting up and sitting next to me. "Also I knew your butler isn't no ordinary butler. Your butler is a demon. Am I correct?" He added.

To my surprise, I didn't know Ciel would know something like that. I nodded not looking at him. Ciel lifted my chin to face him. We both were so close that our lips were almost touching. That was until Sebastian interrupted us. Damn demon.

"My lord, I think it's time for Ms. Moon to leave now." Sebastian said slightly annoyed.

"No. She's not Going back to that hell of a place. Her butler is going to help you around the manor. Luna is staying with us. Ciel said looking from him to me. Well my life just got a whole lot better. Thank you Ciel. I smiled to myself.

"Ma'lady? Would you like me to pack all of your things and bring them here?' Vinncent asked walking toward me.

"Yes Vinncent. Oh and bring your things as well, that's an order. Because for some reason you never bring anything of yours with you." I ordered him. "Oh and by the way, Ciel and Sebastian knows that your a demon." I added while messing with my dress.

Ciel grabbed both my hands and squeezed them, telling me it's going to be ok.

"Your safe now. She's not going to hurt you no more. I'll make sure of it." Ciel said calmly, moving my hair away from my left eye. He looked at my contract with Vinncent and just smiled.

I smiled back happily. 

This is a start for a new wonderful life!
