Percy, Peter, Steve, James, and Tony walk down the hallway. They get to an open room with a balcony. They look down to see the hulk... surrounded by Hydra Personnel.
Steve was about to go down and help when Percy grabbed his arm.
"Make no mistake, this is like walking into a Rattlesnake den with a machete. No matter how many snakes you kill someone is still going to get bitten." Percy tells Steve.
"How are you so wise?" Steve asks the young man in front of him.
"You could say that I'm fighting a battle for humanity." Percy says shrugging.
"What do you mean by that?" Steve asks.
"Let's make a plan." Percy said looking around.
"Why do we need a plan." James asks.
"Let's say this. Life is like a game of Chess. The pieces are always in motion. If you don't plan three to five moves ahead, you will lose to the one who does." Percy says explaining it to James.
"That does make sense."
"Most things he says never do." Peter says.
"Steve what I mean is that one need not fight every battle, or die in the struggle, to be a hero. Do you understand?" Percy asks.
"Yes... I understand."
"Can you explain it to me?" James asks.
"If Hydra attacked now, we wouldn't last five minutes." Percy says.
"Especially me. A am a traitor after all." James said looking down.
"We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we chose to act on. That's who we really are." Percy said.
"Wow you are just spouting out wisdom aren't you?" Peter asks.
"Yep. And the hulk can take care of himself. We need to find a way to get us out of here."
They walk around until they get to a part where a 4 foot wide part of the floor is out. The group looks down and see that it is a 30 foot drop.
"We should go a different way..." Peter says.
Percy hops out of Steve and James's grips. "Anything is possible if you got enough nerve."
"Perce what are you... Percy don't!" Peter yells as Percy takes a running start and jumps over the gap. They see him land somewhere over on the other side.
The others jump across and they find Percy. "What were you thinking?" Peter asks Percy.
"I wasn't. But remember it is our choices that show who we truly are far more than our abilities." Percy says.
"So what are your abilities?" Steve asks.
"Everything you've heard, About monsters, About nightmares, legions whispering around campfires... all the stories are true." Percy says.
"So that means the Greek Gods are real?" Steve asks.
Peter, Percy, and James nod their heads.
Steve sighs.
"Hey James come here." Percy says.
James walks over to him and Percy grabs a hold of James's arm and swings him.
James almost hits a spike but turns in time. He hits another person, who turns out to be a sharpshooter.
"You knew he was up there?" James asks.
"I guessed."
"You guessed?! You must have been pretty sure considering you could of killed me." James says back.
"I was 90% sure,"
James walks up to him,"I see," James kicks him in the shin.
"What was that for?"
"The other 10%."
They continue walking. Until they come near the end of the building.
"We lost... maybe we should just give up..." James said.
"Heroes aren't always the ones who win. There the ones that lose sometimes. But they keep fighting, they keep coming back. They don't give up. That's what makes them heroes." Percy says.
They here a loud crash and hulk stands beside them.
"Hi big guy."
An: Okay so I quoted three different things. What do you think they are?
