"How was ittt?" Kavya squealed, jumping. "Wow! You seem extra excited!" Anika cocked her eyebrow, falling on the couch. "Of course I am. How did it go?" Kavya asked. "I can't figure out." Anika shook her head. "What do you mean?" Kavya asked. "It was okay. He seemed a little weird though!" Anika shrugged. "Let masi go to sleep, we'll then discuss in detail." Kavya said. Anika nodded.

Mom walked into Anika's bedroom "I spoke to Nikhil's parents, and they really like you."

"Is it?" Anika got startled. "Yes. Especially Nikhil." Mom said, with a wide grin on her face. "Should I say a yes?"

"Mom, NO! Can you atleast give me some time?" Anika said. "It's not good to waste time in all these things!" Mom kept a poker face. "I don't care Mom. I need some time." Anika rolled her eyes, folding her hands. "Ok-ok, let me know by tomorrow." Mom walked out.

Later, at the garden.

"Phew! My mother is impossible." Anika gasped hard, shaking her head. "Haha, what is she saying now?" Risha chuckled. "And how was Nikhil?"

"I just can't decide ya!" Anika said. "And my mother wants me to give an answer tomorrow morning."

"Oho, relax now! Tell me what did you guys talk about?" Risha asked. "He seemed kinda frivolous. He started archery, left it cause got bored. He went to Amsterdam with friends and said a little fun doesn't hurt." Anika said. "What does that even mean?" Risha asked. "Exactly. I don't know. But he got possessive that I have male friends!" Anika said. Meanwhile Ved walked inside the conversation. "Why did you call me here?" He asked. "Cause it's important! I need to discuss this Nikhil boy with you two." Anika said. "Yeah sure." Ved gave a fake heartwarming smile. "She met him. He seemed frivolous, went chilling to Amsterdam, is kinda possessive." Risha explained. "And he wants me to stay at home with his mum! I'm not convinced about him." Anika said. "Just not a very good vibe."

"But this doesn't seem like a good enough reason to reject him." Risha expressed her doubt. "But that's up to her Rish! If she didn't get a good vibe, she must say no." Ved said. "He just seemed like someone with a very shallow thinking." Anika said. "In the first meeting, who discusses ex-es!"

"He might have wanted to know, that's fine." Risha said. "I'm just not feeling too sure" Anika frowned. "Oh and I forgot, he's superstitious!"

"Really? But what's wrong in that?" Risha cocked her eyebrows. "Everything! It shows his level of thinking!" Anika said. "Ved, what do you think?"

"Honestly, I don't know!" Ved shrugged. "But I do know that one must go with one's gut feeling!"

"Umm, yeah." Anika nodded. "Where is Kavya?" Risha asked. "She' s helping mum with the dishes!" Anika said. "What did she say?" Risha asked. "I haven't told her in detail yet!" Anika said. "Umm..." Risha nodded. "Stop putting so much pressure on her, Rish!" Ved said. "Anika, take your time and decide!" He smiled. "I need to give an answer by tomorrow!" Anika said. "Buy some time. Say you need to meet once more. Simple?" Ved winked. "Yes. That sounds like a great idea!" Anika said. "You are a savior, Ved!" She hugged him and placed kiss on his cheek. "Anytime!" Ved smiled.

Next morning.

In Anika's bedroom.

"Slept well?" Kavya hugged her sister. "I think so!" Anika gave a soft smile. "Good. So what did you decide?" Kavya asked. "You don't even know the conversation!" Anika got puzzled. "Rish updated me!" Kavya winked. "You girls!" Anika laughed. "And what do you think?"

"Umm, he might be weird, but you could give him another chance." Kavya shrugged. Anika nodded. "What if he was just nervous?" Kavya asked. "Umm... Maybe!" Anika nodded. Mom walked in. "What did you think?"

"I can't decide, mom!" Anika said. "Why don't you meet him once more?" Mom asked. "It seems like the most obvious thing to do."

"I guess..." Anika rolled her eyes. "So, should I tell them you want to meet again?" Mom asked. "Nope, I don't think I want to go ahead with him." Anika said. "Are you sure?" Mom almost shouted. "Yes mom! I can't be with someone so frivolous!" Anika said sternly. "And someone who is so unsure about everything. He was possessive-  to the point of he can do anything he wants but I can't." Anika said. "Umm okay." Mom said. "I think I know what you mean."

"Thanks mom." Anika smiled. "But I really think you could have given him another chance. Especially since they are so keen." Mom said. "They can be keen mom, I'm not." Anika said.

So........
