"Please spare me!"

"This dark hole is going to kill me"

"I promise not to tell anyone."

"Please please don't come after me."

"I've given you everything that I had."

"Why can't you just let me live happily?"

"Yes, I will do everything you say. Even now."

"Just please let me go."

Just then Ved entered, hearing the shouts and noise. "Where is all this coming from?" He wondered and knocked Risha's room door thrice."Damn, it's Risha again! She often experiences these nightmares." He frowned. After trying for a couple of more minutes, Risha is knocked right back in her senses.

"What was that?" Ved asked. "A terrible dream!" Risha shook her head. "Oh saintly woman, will you wake up?" Ved chuckled. "What is this now?" Risha rolled her eyes. "Oh, I just found out. Your name means Saintly." Ved grinned. "You really have no work now, do you?" Risha saw him with a poker face. "Come on, it's kinda fun! But your name is so wrong!" Ved said, "you are anything but saintly and your name also means delicate! And I almost puked on reading that."

"And I will definitely puke if you continue talking now!" Risha frowned. "Aww, my saintly best friend is getting angry?" Ved acted dramatically. "We're anything but best friends! You are a brat." Risha chuckled. "What did I do to earn that title?"Ved saw her confused. "Can we leave for college? I don't have time for your nonsense." Risha rolled her eyes. Risha's mother,a quintessential South Indian lady, yelled at Risha for talking badly to her friend Ved! And this the lecture of good manner began, until Risha apologized and almost ran out of the house.

"Thanks for that." Risha hissed. "I love aunty!!"Ved squealed, making Risha get more irritated. "And I hate you." She folded her hands and turned away. "I always get a yelling thanks to you!!"

"And yet you love me so much! I am charming, what can I say?" Ved winked. "We're getting late! Let's go!" Risha hissed again. "Can we bunk college today?" Ved asked with a puppy face. "For what joy?"Risha asked. "I'm feeling super lazy! We can play cricket instead!" Ved said. "With those rowdy boys? I'm not interested." Risha rolled her eyes. "They always behave when I'm around." Ved kept a puppy face. "But not otherwise. Hence I hate them." Risha said. "But it's such a lovely weather. Please?" He asked, keeping a puppy face. "Gosh! Stop making that innocent face. You know it always melts my heart." Risha kept a adorable expression on her face. "Pretty please, my saint." He again asked. "Stop calling me that!!!" She hissed. "Haha, okay, let me call you Ri from now on!" He said. "I might think about it now!"She said. "Ri baby, please?" He again asked. "Fine!! But no cricket with those unruly boys."She rolled her eyes."Okay, how about we go for a paintball match?" He asked. "How do you come up with all these random ideas?" She laughed. "Well, I'm not stupid like you!"He winked. "I think I am going to college!!" She got impatient. "Please noo, I'll get bored without you!!" He begged. "And I'm not here to entertain you." She glared at him. "Not after that yelling I have received."

"Ok-ok, I'll go and tell aunty it was my fault.Happy?" He asked. "Better!!" She rolled her eyes. "Let's go watch a move! I just downloaded."He said, excitedly. "What is it about?" She asked. "Supernatural thriller. It will be fun!" He squealed."Cool, let's do that!!" She too squealed.

They started walking towards Ved's home, when they ran into someone!

"Ouch, can't you look and walk!" That girl shouted. "Excuse me miss. You were distracted." Risha shouted back. . "No I wasn't. I was just looking around." She shouted. "Exactly. Distracted!"Ved said. "Whatever!" That girl rolled her eyes. "More like pretty-distracted actually." Risha gave a soft nudge to Ved and chuckled. "Hey hey, don't cross the line!" That girl hissed. "I haven't even started yet." Ved chuckled. "What are you saying Ved?" Risha asked. "Isn't she pretty?" He asked. "Wow, you waste no time. Do you?" She kept a disgusted look on her face. "I am just appreciating what I see." Ved shrugged. "This is why you run into strangers?" She glared at him. "But you aren't a stranger!" Ved shrugged. "Oh yes, I forgot, weren't we in school together?"She responded sarcastically. "Oh sorry for my memory loss, we are in the same college?" She laughed. "Or wait, did we share a couple of dinners together? Mister, don't try these cheap tactics with me!" She folded her hands, glaring at him. "I know your type too well."

"Missy, mind your words! Ved, let's go!" Risha shouted. "She's new around here. We must assist her." Ved said and turned to that girl, "Hi, I'm Ved. And she's my friend Risha." He introduced. "Aww, you guys are so cute!" She laughed it off. "Enough. What's the matter with you?" Risha got irritated. "My problem is with these cheap flirts." She glared at Ved. "He's not cheap and he's not a flirt." Risha defended. "He was only trying to break the ice. You do not have to get it all wrong."

"Whatever. I'd rather explore this place than deal with you guys!" She rolled her eyes, folding her hands. Just then, she heard her mom calling out to her! She left without a word. "My God, what a rude girl." Risha whispered. "It must be something. We should find out more about her." Ved said. "Why do you care, Ved?" Risha asked. "I don't know. She looked sad."  Ved kept a sad face. "I'm sure she has a story to tell."

"I really don't care about it!" Risha rolled her eyes. "We must. She's in our colony after all." Ved said. "We don't even know if she stays here." Risha said. "We must find out!" Ved said. "I don't care enough too." Risha rolled her eyes, folding her hands. "But Risha..."

"We should have just gone to college." Risha said. "This has been just a waste of time."

"Something will surely come out of it. I can feel it." Ved said. "Stop feeling in that case.I'm going home." Risha hissed.
