Surprisingly enough, the girls managed to secure permission from their parents. On the pretext of wanting to see the Taj Mahal! And of course there is extended family in Agra. Anika planned a surprise to meet Ankur, her online friend. She vaguely knows where he stays because of the multiple conversations they had. But they're in for a rude shock.

"How could he?" Anika quivered. "This is exactly Ved and I were trying to tell you." Risha glared. "I can't believe what I just saw." Anika said. "It's okay. We're here with you!" Risha consoled, keeping her hand on Anika's shoulder. "How could he?" Anika said with teary eyes. "This is how guys are!" Risha said. "I really should have known! He was such a sweet-talker" Anika kept a sad face. "Maybe we should go give him a piece of our mind, just like you have it to those boys in college on your first day!" Risha suggested. "They didn't dare to mess with us or anyone after that."

"I think so too!" Anika nodded. Risha and Anika barged into Ankur's house. They confronted him and proved him guilty in front of his wife and child! As much as they looked tormented Anika decided to never look back. They two immediately returned home.

"Where is Ved these days?" Anika asked. "He's just been caught up with admissions." Risha said. Meanwhile Ved walked in. 'Hi girls!" He waved. "My God, I'm seeing you after so long!"Anika exclaimed. "You girls are too busy! What to do?"He smirked and rolled his eyes. "Nah, nothing like that!" Anika crossed her arms. "Will you all eat something?" Risha asked. "Umm..." Anika nodded. Just then, they all heard some commotion outside and went outside to check.

"Gosh, what's happening here?" Risha asked. "Mom, let her in."

"Phew! Thanks for letting me in!"That girl wiped her sweat. "Aunty just wouldn't understand."She shook her head. "Where is she? I'm so excited to see her!" She squealed. "It's been forever noww! Can you please call her?" She asked. "I know she is here!"

"Can you breathe first?" Risha chuckled. "And who are you?"

"Yayyyy, you are here!!" That girl squealed and hugged Anika. "When did you get here?" Anika got surprised as well as thrilled. "It feels so good to see you once again!" She squealed. "And it's going to be great with you around!" Anika squealed. "Girls, may I?"Risha crossed her arms, with a poker face. "Oh sorry Rish! This is my cousin, Kavya!" Anika introduced. "We're as good as siblings."

"Hi Rish! I like you already. You are a sweetheart." Kavya said. "Woah! That's some excitement." Risha widened her eyes. Ved walked to them with a confused expression, seeing Kavya. "What's up girls?"

"Nothing! Meet Kavya, sister of our lovely Anika." Risha introduced. "Hi Kavya, nice to meet you." Ved smiled. "Pleasure is all mine!" Kavya smiled with a light blush. "looks like someone has caught your fancy." Anika winked at Kavya. "Stop embarrassing me now, please." Kavya blushed with a poker face. "You guys are actually embarrassing me!" Ved said. "Anyway, I shall take your leave. Have tons of work to complete."

"But you haven't updated us about anything yet!" Anika stopped. "At the right time! Don't miss me too much! See ya!" Ved winked and left from there.

The three girls resign to the bedroom for the night.

"How did you get here?" Anika asked. "I spoke to maasi, and decided to surprise you!" Kavya winked. "I've taken an admission in a college right here."

"Woah! That's exciting now!" Anika widened her eyes with surprise. "I'm lost!" Risha kept a confused expression. "We were in the same school. But then my parents shifted to Delhi, so I had to move away from didi." Kavya said. "Our bond never weakened!"

"This makes more sense now." Risha said. "So yes, Kavya is one person who knows everything about me." Anika said. "Interesting! So Kavya, did you hear the latest?" Risha asked. "About marriage?" Kavya asked. "Yep!" Risha chuckled. "Lol, yes. I have received maasi's frantic phone call already!" Kavya chuckled. "So what did you think?" Risha asked. "I really think she should consider it." Kavya said. "Science says this is the right age after all."

"She refuses to understand!" Risha complained. "Can we talk about something else?" Anika frowned. "No didi, you should face this!" Kavya evil grinned. "I just want to have a good time with you." Anika frowned. "At least give aunty a chance." Risha said. "I think she's right!" Kavya agreed. "Kavya, you know everything. And yet you say this?" Anika glared. "I thought even I know everything?" Risha kept a puppy face. "Ri, I'm about to tell you something very important." Anika said. Risha sat right and started staring at Anika. "And something very personal. Hope this stays between us." Anika said. Risha nodded. "You are scaring me."

"I don't mean to. But it's the biggest truth of my life." Anika said. "Do you even know why I moved in here?" Anika asked. "Nope. You never mentioned, we never asked." Risha said. "It's for a reason. It was never about locality, college, etc." Anika said. "Then?" Risha scrunched her eyebrows. "It was because of my father." Anika said. "I thought he's outside India for work." Risha got shocked. "Nope, my parents have separated." Anika said. "Why?" Risha asked, becoming more attentive. "My father loved travelling, and his business demanded it. So it worked well for him. On every business trip, he had his secretary accompanying him." Anika paused. "So?" Risha asked. "She was lot more than that to him." Anika frowned. "Mom kinda knew about it, but she kept mum! Because she didn't want to affect my childhood. She silently dealt with all of it, until one day..." Anika paused.

"What happened?" Risha asked. "Until one day he came home with that lady."Anika said. "What!" Risha got shocked. "Yep, she duped him off all his money and demanded the home. My childhood home. Even then, my mum was rock solid. With a straight face, she said we can stand on our feet again! And you know the worst part?" Anika paused. "What?" Risha asked. "He decided to stay back with her, at her mercy and asked us to leave. My mom, with her head heald high, walked out! I was obviously given a choice, but I never wanted the choice. I knew I wanted to be with my mum! And we moved in here. With the help of my maternal grandparents. Today, we have nothing to do with that man. But he did ruined my belief about love and marriages!" Anika completed. "I'm sorry sweetie, I can understand!" Risha kept a hand on Anika's shoulder and consoled. "I just want to tell you one thing! Love is beautiful, don't let a bad experience move your faith in it. With the right person, everything can be conquered. Don't let that man destroy your beliefs. Look at your mum, she should be your role model. She has faced so many hardships, you think you devoid her of this beautiful feeling - of seeing her only daughter getting married!" Risha said. "And she's never stopped you from anything. For her sake, you could give it a chance and like Risha aptly put it- don't let one dirty apple rotten your other rather beautiful bag of memories!" Kavya said.

"I don't know, I just feel skeptical." Anika said, staring on to the pillow. "Which is fine! It's only natural." Risha said. "Just don't be so closed mind about it." Kavya said. "Hmmm..." Anika nodded. "I suggest let's watch a movie now and enjoy." Risha grinned. "Thank you girls. I will talk to mom tomorrow." Anika smiled. "Yep, we love you too!" Risha hugged Anika and Kavya joined. "Haha, I'm only glad!" Anika laughed. "I was so worried how will life in Prem Nagar be, but I can confidently say - it's never been better!" Anika tightened the hug.
