This chapter is a little filler. And you'll see the relationship between Travis and Brooke.
So enjoy! :) <3
I tried to make it longer, but it seems like I still can't do it. I'm sorry! :(

After I met Lucas, I couldn't stop thinking about him. There was just something about him that I wanted, something that I needed. He was amazingly hot for one reason and he seemed sweet for another reason.
But it doesn't work that way. It's not like a cheesy love story where boy meets girl, girl falls head over heels for him, they kiss, and he asks her out and bam. Happy ending. It's not like that, Brooke. This isn't a fairy tale story. You don't even know him, but you already like him? Maybe you only like him because of his looks, but he seemed so sweet also.
Everything feels like it's too good to be true.
I don't look like any super model or some hot celebrity. I'm just an average girl. I am a brunette whose wavy hair goes down half of my back, a coffee-shaded color for my eyes, a caramel toned body, my chest is perfectly fine, not too big and not too small, and I'm just naturally slim. I don't really work out, but I do like to play baseball. It's one of my favorite sports.
It was my favorite pastime when either my parents were fighting or when I just simply got bored. My brother and I, believe or not, used to love to play a quick game at our backyard, just to get our minds off of our parents.
I admit, Travis is a big jackass, but I do love him. He and I will always be there for each other, whenever I needed help I just ask him and he's there for me. We do have fights now and then, but you know that's what we do. He's just my big dork and Brooke, you are rambling about Travis. But hey, that's just me. I can't help it.
Back to the point, this isn't a romance book that you love to read. It's not easy as that. And besides he probably has a girlfriend. He's really cute and I bet a bunch of girls would be all over him. I can't blame them.
"UGH!" I shrieked, grabbing my pillow placing it on top of my face.
"Brooke?" my brother came in, walking over to sit next to me.
"What?" I sat up, groaning.
"You said 'UGH' and I figured you have some problems," he shrugged.
"Well I do."
"About what? We have only been here for one day and you already have problems."
"I know, but there was this guy that I met today."
"You already met a boy? And you like him already? Wow," he replied.
"Well that's the problem," I tightened my grip of my pillow. "I feel like I'm rushing things after you know . . ."
"The break up with 'him'? Yeah I think I can understand you, but you don't have to like someone right away after that."
"But Lucas seems so sweet and he doesn't seem like . . . Gabriel," I choked out the last word. Saying his names brought back painful memories.
"Well Gabe was a douche, okay? And, ah, the mysterious boy that you met is name Lucas," Travis let out a chortle.
"Yes, his name is Lucas," I blushed red.
"How did you even meet him?" he wondered.
"Well," I started off. "When you left your stinky socks on, Mom told me that I could put the garage box in the garage and then when I carried the box, I lost my balance. But he was there to help me up," I smiled at the image that went through my head.
"That's nice of him," he nodded. "But what if you don't ever see him again?"
"That's not possible because he goes to Seaview and we're enrolled in there right?" I asked him just to make sure. "He even offered me to show me around the school."
"Wow, well I don't know how to help you from you obsessive boy craze," he sighed deeply.
"I guess it's alright," I sighed with him. "But thanks for your help though."
"No problem, but . . ."
"What?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Did you say 'yes' when he asked you?"
"Yeah, why?" I was a little suspicious.
"I'm going with you," he flatly said.
"What? No, you're not," I shook my head, refusing.
"I'm your older brother. I can do what I want."
"Yeah, so? Only by one year and I'm the mature one."
"I don't care," he sneered. "I'm still going with you."
"Fine," I finally agreed with him. "But you can't say a word."
"Deal," Travis nodded and shook my hand. "Let's see how this will turn out."
"It will be interesting," I muttered to myself. "Okay, you can get out of my room now."
"Bye little sis," he smirked and walked back up to his room.
"Oh brother," I rolled my eyes.
