"Where are the aquamancers?"
"I don't know where they ar...," one civilian said before being pierce through the heart by arrow.
"Gotcha ya, the Hidden Kingdom has fallen!" creature said watching the kingdom up in flames. The creatures had plans to retrieve a head of their master that is has been guarded in the castle for two millenniums. The creature kept shooting arrows at the mancers who were running in fear. They were dropping like flies then he saw his fish monster companion and ask him a question. "Slauter, where is Phantasma with the head?"
"I don't know Demo, just keep killing the mancers and keep an eye open for the young Paladins," Slauter order Demo. They set this plan in motion when the old Paladins pass the torch to a new generation.
"We could have done this years ago, but no we had to wait," Demo said in spite after shooting two civilians then sees two more companions name Mata and Faultout. Mata was eating one mancer and Faultout creating a chasm to kill all except geomancers. Couple of geomancers appear out of the ground to strike Mata and Faultout, but Demo shot them down. Demo told them that they should pay attention, but they told him to drop dead.
"Shut your bickering lips," Slauter snap at them and they grunt. Two more of their companions shown up name Neverend and Payn to regroup with their fellow cult members when the leader showed up name Phantasma. A ghastly creature holding a head. "Finally, you got the head!"
"Yes, but now let's retrieve the reaming five pieces and..."
"KODY GET BACK HERE!"
The creatures turn their heads and see a child running towards them in anger. Then they four more children running behind the man. They notice five more adults running towards the children. Demo pulled out 6 arrows and pulled them back. Then man grab his son and toss him towards the other children. Demo let go of his bow striking the adult. Piercing their hearts and blood gushing out. The children were shock in horror. Their parents told them to run. The children teleported to the entrances and left the kingdom.
"Damn those brats got away," Mata said in disappointment.
"True, but those five brats are the Paladins," Phantasma said while the rest of the cult members look at her, "but we don't have time to hunt them down to kill them! Demo go after them, you enjoy killing children more than anyone else."
"Will do," Demo chuckle and took after the children.
The children kept on running and past a body at the entrance. They decided to teleport somewhere a bit far. The children appear in the unknown forest and scared out of their minds. They continue walking while crying in tears. They couldn't think. They felt alone in the world. The children witness their parents being murder right in front of them. How would they deal with that?
The children kept on walking till they came across a dirt road. They decide to follow it to see if they could find civilization. They get on walking till they heard couple of horses and a limousine. They stop and saw the children. Two adults came out of the limo and they appear to be a king and queen, but they don't know which kingdom. The royal family walk up to the children and with a calm voice they ask the children question.
"Where are your parents' little ones," the queen asks them.
One of the two girls started to cry when she heard about their parents. The queen felt kind of guilty mentioning parents. The king walk up and comfort the poor child. He asks them their names?
