Hey guys! Thank u so much for the adds, votes, reads and comments. It means a lot :) So onto chapter 4.

"Ok keep those buttons pressed down." The Doctor told me, while using his sonic screwdriver thing to create the forcefield.

"Ok." I said, slamming my hands down on two buttons that the Doctor said would help him make the forcefield.

"Great." He said, still pointing the screwdriver at the doors. I looked at him, wondering how this would work. If it would work.

"So how does this work exactly?" I asked, still pressing down the buttons.

"Easy. I just sonic the doors, press a button, combine an amplifier and a reflector shield to the forcefield, open the doors, get the people on this side of the forcefield, may have to create a distraction and project it before the Griffonites. We draw them to it, they try screeching at us, the forcefield deflects the attack, throws the sound back onto them, more louder than usual. It'll disintegrate them judging by the volume level." He explained.

"Ok..." I said, trying to figure it all out in my head. Which didn't work. "No way does that sound easy."

He snorted. "For you, maybe." He said. "But trust me, it's simple. Just let me do it."

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Fine. So who's going to create this distraction?" I asked, all the while thinking please not me. Please not me. Please not me.

"I will." He replied, grinning. "You get the people in front of the Tardis and I'll go distract them."

I thought for a moment. That seemed a logical plan, except for the probability of him getting eaten. "Alright, slight problem though. What about you getting eaten?" I asked.

"Simple solution. I run very fast." He answered, shrugging. I looked at him in utter disbelief.

"You're serious?" I said, looking at him like he was crazy. Which he kinda was but I knew there was no way I could discourage him.

"Yep. It's always worked." He said. "Now come on, we've got griffionites to defeat."

Still holding the forcefied, he rushed forward and opened the doors. I quickly followed him out,

We were met by a scene of disray. People were still running around and the griffionites were still causing mayhem. But now their short reign of terror was about to be over.

The doctor turned to me and smiled. "Ready?" He inquired.

I gulped. "Not really. Scared for you mostly.." I admitted.

He chuckled. "Of course you are. But I'll be fine. Just get the people here." He told me.

"How do I do that?" I asked, absolutely stumped.

"Oh, I don't know. Use your charm?" He asked, smirking, I blinked at him. Was he flirting with me?

"What charm?" I asked, lost. If he said the charm you used to make me let you into the tardis, I was gonna be so weirded out.

He smiled again. "Exactly." He quipped. I pulled an expression of mock offense and hit him lightly on the arm/ "Idiot!" I joked.

"Among other things." He replied. "Ok, we gotta go. You'll figure it out. Good luck." And in a flash he was gone.

I sighed. Great. Just great. He goes off to face certain death and I have to convince a load of 18th century people who will probably label me a witch to hide behind a invisible forcefield. I'd rather be a distraction.
