*Katniss
"Fay!" I call as I walk into their bedroom.
"Fay, Joshua wake up! Your going to be late for school again!" I say hurriedly.
"Fay, Joshua! GET UP!" I say angrily. I hear them moan, but they still will not leave their bed.
"That's it!" I yell.
And that really is it. This is what happens when they don't listen to me. I go and grab a cup of water and pour it on both of them.
"Mom!" They both yell.
"What was that for?" Fay asks angrily.
"That is for not doing what I say! Now hurry up. If you wanted to be babied you should've asked your father to wake you up! Come on get dressed!" I say.
As I leave my problem resolved I go and sit with Peeta at the breakfast table.
"Hi," I say.
"Hi dear what was that all about?" He asks.
"They wouldn't listen to me so I poured water on them." I said.
Peeta chuckled, "Just like you used to do to Haymitch."
I laugh with him and say,"Speaking of Haymitch he's coming over today."
"Okay," says Peeta cheerfully ,"just make sure he doesn't drink all our liquor."
I smile happily. Haymitch Abernathy is old now. It had been twenty-eight years since the last Hunger Games. But though still a drunk people consider him very wise.
Just then two very upset people came into the kitchen. Fay with still soaking brown hair and big blue eyes glaring down at me angrily. Her hair was messed up and put in every direction. Her face was pale and shivering. And then there's Joshua with his wet blonde hair that sticks out, as well, in every direction. He has happy gray eyes who could care less if he was wet or dry. There was toast on the table from the bakery. Peeta still runs the bakery now. He owns it since his father died.
"Well you two look just gorgeous." I say grinning slightly. "Come on eat up your father's delicious bread."
"I can't believe you did that!" Screamed Fay. "We would've gotten up just fine. Now my hair will take forever to dry, and we have to walk to school this morning freezing!"
I look over at Joshua who's eating toast happily. I now look over at Fay and say,"Now, now Fay you're the only one who's upset about this. I can quickly put it in a braid, and you'll be fine."
"Fine," she says. So I start braiding her hair as she stubbornly let's me do. Then I send them off to school. I kissed Peeta goodbye as he went to the bakery, and wished them all to have a good day.
I haven't exactly found a job yet; I just hunt. There are faces I rarely see that I'm not ready to face. For example Gale. I'm not ready. It's hard even to think about talking to him. After the rebellion I felt an anger so deep I don't know if it will ever go away.
About an hour after they left, Haymitch showed up looking wrinkly with his blonde hair turned to white. He still has a flask in his hand.
"Haymitch, it's nice to see you. How are you?" I ask
"I'm fine," he responds, "aging everyday but still have my dear friend alcohol."
"There's something I need to tell you Katniss," he said sternly, "there are people from I don't know where coming. They're angry at Panem. Angry at the system. I think it's a secret group from the Capital that wanted the games. There have been kidnappings. Twenty-four children are missing, and we think they were supporters of President Snow. Keep an eye out if this thing really does come. You and your family will be at the top of their hit list.
I sit there stunned. What am I going to do? People really will hate me for what I've done if they're supporters of Snow. I need to get to Peeta, and fast. I thank Haymitch for giving me this information, and hurry straight to the bakery once he left.
