As I land at the DEO, Alex is there to greet me. "Kara, you'll never believe what just happened." Alex said in disbelief. "What?!" I ask nervously. "We received a strange message coming from a pod trying to get to Earth." Alex paused. I gasped. "It's Mon El." Alex said. A tear trickled down my cheek. Alex just told me that Mon El, the love of my life who was cast into space never to be seen ever again, was alive. I nearly fainted. I was overly upset, confused, and somewhat angry. "No no no. Alex, tell me this isn't happening. Tell me this isn't real." I took Alex's head in my hand and stared into her eyes. She was telling the truth. "I'm sorry Kara. Here, follow me. Let's go listen to the message, so you can hear it for yourself." I nod and Alex takes my hand as she leads me to my uncertain fate.
