Part 4

I run into the bathroom, sobbing. I feel so many different emotions right now. I desperately want to be with both Mon El and Winn and I don't want to have to choose between them, but I feel that in the end, that's how it's going to be. Suddenly, Alex rushes in. "Kara, are you ok?" she asks me in a gentle tone. "Not really." I answer, making me vulnerable. "What's wrong." Alex asks, comforting me. So I begin to explain to her my thoughts and feelings. She suggests that I talk to Winn about this. It's not a bad idea actually. So after Alex makes me feel better and I become strong again, I head back to the control center to talk to Winn. "Winn, can I talk to you for a second?" I ask him. "Sure, what's up." he answers. We walk off the side so no one can hear us. "It's about this whole thing with Mon El." I say. "Look Kara, I know this whole thing is gonna be crazy for everyone, especially for you, me, and him." Winn paused then continued. "Kara, why are you worried, don't you love me?" he asked in a both concerned and confused tone. "Of course I love you Winn, but I don't know what's going to happen when Mon El gets back. I don't want to have to choose between you two. But I don't know. When I see Mon El, old emotions might return and I don't know what will happen to our relationship." I said as I looked hopelessly off into the distance. I looked back at Winn. "Kara, I will love you no matter what. I know it's going to be hard seeing him again, and knowing that you are with me, so you have my full approval to do whatever you like, but if you don't feel a connection between you and Mon El again, just remember that I'm still here." Winn said as he hugged me and smiled. "I'll never forget you, Winn Schott." I said. We then shared a somewhat passionate kiss. But during that kiss, I thought about Mon El. I thought about what it would be like to see his handsome face again. Jonn suddenly interrupted the kiss. "Ok you two, come on. We have a mission."
