Y/n's P.O.V.

After I patched up Marco, the people flying around and Star had finally defeated the bunnies. They used magic to clean everything up like nothing ever happened to prevent panic. I had said good night to Marco and Star and went home.

I opened the door to the house and walked in slowly, closing it behind me. The kitchen light was on so I wondered what Auntie was doing up this late and found her with her head on the dining room table, sleeping. "Auntie?" I walked over to her and shook her gently.

She started to stir and woke up, "Y/n...? Where... Were you?"

I quickly thought of something, "I was hanging out with Star and Marco." She sat up straight and stretched. I yawned, "See you in the morning. Love you!" I walked upstairs, into my room, and flopped onto my bed. I started to slowly doze off, gently closing my eyes and accepting the peace. Then, my phone scared me awake from ringing. I growled and grabbed my phone, "Hello?"

"Where the heck is Aunt Marie?! She was supposed to pick me up three hours ago!" I hear an angry Morgan yell, almost blowing the speakers in my phone.

"Shoot! Sorry! I'll wake up Auntie right now." I responded, panicked that we left Morgan at the airport for a few hours alone. I shot up and hung up the phone, leaving my room. I knocked on Auntie's door and got a small hum in response, "What about Morgan?" All I got in return was a long string of curses and complaints. I laughed and went back to my room for the night.

Time Skip...

I woke up by Auntie shaking me violently. "Revenge!" Auntie yelled, "Now, wake up!"

I groaned, "A few more hours...!" She pushed me off the bed and laughed. I growled and instantly jumped to my feet.

"Oh no... The beast has awoken!" I run towards her, but she escaped just in the time and ran down the stairs. I followed running down the stairs after her. Once I turned sharply into the kitchen, I smacked straight into Morgan.

"Ow! What the heck?! Watch where your going, you moron!" She yelled, trying to get off of the floor.

I scoffed, "You're just overexaggerating. I'm not that fast. Thank you for the compliment though." Morgan growled and walked off into the living room.

"Y/n, be nice to your cousin!" Auntie scolded, putting a plate of breakfast on the counter for me.

"You know how bad Morgan is, right?" I commented, grabbing the plate and eating some while leaning against the counter.

She sighed and replied sadly, "Yes, but she needs more friends. The only friends she has are in juvenile detention and Rebecca is still in rehab. She is only gonna be here until after Christmas."

I sighed and said, "Fine. I'll try to get along with her."

Auntie smiled, "Thank you."

I set down my food and walked into the living room to see Morgan sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone. I stood in front of her and cleared my throat. She looked up to me without moving her head, scowling. "Hey, Morgan. I'm sorry about before. I should have watched where I was going."

She rolled her eyes and said, "What? An apology? Do you have to listen to your 'Auntie' now that your mom is dead?"

I growled, clenching my fists to prevent me from doing anything, "Don't say anything you might regret in the future, Morgania."

Morgan laughed, "Oh, I'm so scared! Go cry to your mommy about it. Oh, wait-"

I grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the couch, holding her forearm up against her upper back and pulling her elbow outwards to cause a bit of pain. I didn't even know I was able to do that, but it's useful. "If you speak about my mother again, I will personally call your mother about your behavior. Oh, wait, isn't she in rehab because of you?"

I could feel Morgan tense up and hold her breath. I got closer to her ear and said, "Test me again and you will be in a world of regret."

"Y/n! You're going to be late for school if you don't hurry up!" Auntie said, beginning to turn the corner. I quickly pulled Morgan up, wrapping my arm over her shoulder and dropping her hand in the process. Auntie gave us a weird look and looked between us two.

I nodded to her, "Yeah, I'll get going!" I unwrapped my arm and headed upstairs to get ready. I wore a white tee and jean shorts with black leggings underneath it. I put on my shoes and grabbed my book bag. Once I came to the front door, I looked back to see Morgan glaring. I rolled my eyes at her and left to go to school.

Tom's P.O.V.

Wow, did she really do that to her cousin for talking about her mom like that? I might be catching feelings. I waved the illusion away in my bedroom mirror and went over and sat on my bed. I grabbed the book my parents wanted me to study for being 'disorderly' and 'rude' towards them. The book was all junk anyways. It was the history of very successful people in all the dimensions and most of them just stopped someone from doing something bad. It's not like that was helpful for me. I flipped to a random page in the book and the picture of this successful hero was a woman with M(om)/h/l M/h/c and she was using magic from her bare hands instead of some wand or item. There were a few cases of someone having magic naturally, but this one was way more interesting. I decided to read the paragraph below the image:

M/n L/n is one of the most powerful women of her time. She has fought of many great foes in order to save many people. At first glance, she may just look ordinary; but her magic is within. The last time she was seen by anyone was when she fought off one of the most dangerous men, D/n R(andom)/L/n. She was also four months pregnant at the time of battle. How she was able to fight with a child in the womb? She was a very powerful woman...

Then the paragraph continued on about her adventures. See? Completely filled with junk. It doesn't even give any information on the child. I scoffed and threw the book off to the side, flopping back onto my bed. That was boring.
