After Amitola's wedding I slowly trekked back to the camp. His voice still echoed in my head," I will see you in your dreams tonight." My dress was soaking wet and clung to my legs. I snuck into my teepee and laid down on my pallet. Pulling the warm deer skin over my body, I laid my head down on the furs and drifted into my dreams.
I opened my eyes to the sounds of the lost boys dancing near the flames. I was overhead in a large hanging cage-like thing. It only had three woven walls and a matress and furs on the bottom. Supported by a rope, it gently swung back and forth over the celebration. I tucked a stray hair behind my ear and swung down to the bottom of the jungle floor. "Well, hello there, little Tiger." A masculine voice said behind me. I whipped around pulling out my dagger. He was blonde, with greenish eyes, he looked to be about seventeen and was tall. "Name's Felix. Pan sent me to find you."
I stared at him like he was crazy "Who's Pan?" I thought to myself. Slowly I took a step back and fell over on a twisted branch. This boy, Felix, had a long scar running down his face. I didn't recognize his voice, so it couldn't be the one in my head. The other voice was sharper yet enchanting, this one was lilting like he was bored or tired. I raised my dagger and shrugged my braids away from my face. He chewed on a blade of long grass.
"Woah, little Tiger! I'm not gonna hurt you," he said raising his hands where he carried an axe. I motioned for him to put the weapon down and backed up another step. He slowly set it down and reached for my hand. I gently took it and walked with him deeper into the woods. Soon the glow oc the bonfire faded and we were in complete darkness. "Almost there, little Tiger." Why did he continue to call me that?! For goodness sakes I was almost as tall as him.
After many twists and turns, and about fifteen minutes of darkness, we got close to an illuminated tree. The tree was gnarled and tall with torches surrounding it. "This is Pan's thinking tree," he whispered. I slowed my pace and relased his hand.
"I told you never to disturb me here, Felix." A threating voice said from the other side of the tree. It sounded like the voice in my head, but it was dark and treatining. Then a knife came flying right for our heads, immediately I ducked out of the way. "Pan, I brought her."
"Well then, leave. Leave her here though." Felix turned and clapped my shoulder
"Good luck little Tiger," he whispered and left. I took a cautious step forward.
"Tiger Lily," said the voice, I can only assume its Pan, "come around the tree." I gripped tighter to my dagger and walked back to the tree. I looked behind me once the ran smack dab into a body. The boys standing there was about seventeen or possibly eightteen, with wavy brown hair and green eyes. He was tall, with a regal heir, shoulders straight and feet apart. His smile was cocky, at the least. His eyebrows were raised in an amazingly sexy way. The force of his body when I crashed into him knocked me over onto my knees, so I was staring up at his form. My heart skipped a few beats. He held down his hand. The fingernails were long and pointed, with blood underneath them.
Gently, I placed my hand in his and he pulled me up. His green tunic was rough underneath my fingers. Anxiously I took a step back, looking down. " Whats the matter, Tiger Lily?" I spoke some words of my people, telling him I was okay.
" Oh I forgot. Here, for the language barrier." He waved his hand in front of my mouth, gently running his fingers over my lips. I jerked back.
"What the hell," I said in perfect English. I jumped back covering my lips," did I just say that?!" I started to laugh. " What's your name? What does my name sound like in English? Why does the blonde boy, Felix call me little Tiger?" My English was perfect and proud.
" One question at a time. I'm Peter, Peter Pan. Your name is Tiger Lily in English. And Felix already gave you a nickname? That was fast." I looked at him, surprised. Then the Earth started to shake. Then I blacked out.

I jerked awake on my pallet, shivering. My dress was still soaked and my hair fell out of its braids. A lone green jungle leaf laid next to my head. Then lightning flashed outside revealing a shadow standing next to me. I jumped up and grabbed my hatchet swinging it wildly at the shadow man.
"Stop. It's me."
