We were walking in the woods for what seemed like forever. It was pitch black out, the only thing to light our path was Alex's cellphone.
The moment we got to the campfire I recognized everyone there. Alex's best friends Matt and Derek, Derek's girlfriend Monica, and Matt's cousin Lisa. As I sat down, I realised that they were all talking about Dean.
"He's a total jerk. I overheard him telling Amanda Germain that he's planning to get some girl drunk and totally take advantage of her." said Monica.
"What a.." Lisa started to say when I cut her off mid-sentence.
"Wait Monica, did he say who he was planning on doing this to?"
"I'm not sure, I didn't hear him. But all I know is that it's going to be easy for him to get with this girl, because apparently she's 'obsessed' with him and would 'do anything' for him." replied Monica.
Alex pulled me aside and asked "Do you want to go find Kelly before it's too late?" I nodded and we started walking towards the house. I wasn't going to let Dean take advantage of my best friend.
