It is lunch time, and I'm here sitting with Jay, waiting for this bitch to show up for her so-call tutoring class. I guess you all should know who I mean.
"Why you looking so feisty?" He asks, making me jump out of my thoughts.
"I look feisty?" I query while taking up my phone to look at myself on the screen for a couple of seconds. "I don't."
"Yes, you do."
"I don't, Jay. Do you really want to see a feisty face?"
"How about you show me, now?" He asks while placing his hand on his cheek and looking at me right in the face.
"Really boy?" I look at him like 'really?'.
"That's your feisty face?" He begins to laugh which makes me chuckle in my mind. He really knows how to make me smile.
"Whatever," I roll my eyes at him and look across the cafeteria to see Tessa and her friends in the line, waiting to order something.
"So...you don't have anymore tutoring class with your friend?" I look at him and ask.
"Well...yeah. Surprisingly, she's not here already. Maybe she doesn't want to come because of how you treated her this morning."
"How did I treat her?"
He takes his eyes off of me and begins to scratch the back his head, which means he can not tell me how I treated that bastard this morning.
"You don't have shit to say huh?"
"I do actually. And that is....you should know what you did this morning."
"Whatever. I already did it, so if she doesn't want to bring her ass over here then...at least I can spend my lunch with you, which I haven't did in a while now," I bring up, which kinda changes his mood.
Silence grows between the two of us, while I look at him searching around the cafeteria for something or someone.
"What are you looking for?"
"Nothing, babe," he answers, looking all guilty and stuff, but I decide to keep what's in mind and shut the hell up.
"Hey, Jay...sorry for being late," Tessa apologizes while pulling a chair next to him after placing her lunch on the table. Her eyes meet with mine and that is when she stops doing whatever she was doing immediately. "What are you doi- oh...he is your man. Just remember."
"Yes, he is my MAN," I smile at her innocently and peep over at Jay, who is busy texting on his phone.
"Um...I get it," she rolls her eyes and begins to eat her lunch. "Anyways Jaylen, let's proceed with our tutoring class. Amelia, can you please excuse us?"
"And go where? Bitch, there is nothing here for you to hide, because I already did the work. Unless you didn't come here to learn," I pull in my chair closer to the table, being interested in what Jay is about to teach. Even though I learned the work already.
"Ugh...why did you choose now to be doing all of this shit? Your possessive side shit. So damn annoying," she argues while I stare at her and smirk.
"Do you have a problem?"
"Look...can you gu-" Jaylen tries to calm us down but he fails.
"Yes, I have a problem. A major one too. I don't see the purpose of you acting like a stuck-up fu- you know what? Imma leave. Bye, Jaylen," she gets up out of her seat quickly and finds her way out of the cafeteria.
After that, Jay looks at me with a deadly look.
"What?"
"Don't 'what' me. What was that for?"
