Harrison got to work, as he cleaned her wound, Y/n shifting a little before laying still.
"She still hasn't woken up?" Jacob asked, as he watched Harrison's hands worked to close her wound.
"No, she hasn't. The amount of blood she lost was too much, so she needs to rest." Harrison said, as he thread the needle through her skin, closing the wound before tying the thread into a knot and cutting it. "Hopefully it holds. We need to get her on a bed."
Tom nodded, as he wrapped a bandage over her stitches, before hooking his arms under her knees and behind her back. He swiftly picked her up, carrying her as Harrison led the way to a bedroom, only containing a small dresser, a bed, a door to the bathroom and a window. He made his way to the bed, Harrison closing the window curtains before Tom laid her down, her arm propped on a pillow before draping the blanket over her body, and letting her sleep.
"She should be okay for a couple hours. We need to give her painkillers when she wakes up or she will be in a hell of a lot of pain." Harrison said, closing the door quietly before Tom followed behind him, to the living room, where Jacob was waiting, typing on his phone.
Noticing his two best friends walking over, he slipped the phone into his pocket and stood up. "What are we going to do about the car?" he asked, curiosity sparking in his voice as he looked between both of them. "We can't just have it outside. People will get suspicious. And I'm pretty sure the CIA is going to be back."
"Yeah, we need to get rid of it." Tom said, as they nodded, before Tom grabbed the keys, heading out the door and disappearing.
Tom returned, 2 hours later, with a new set of keys in his hand. By this time, Jacob had been composing a plan, that he would then share with Tom and Y/n.
"Did you do it?" Harrison asked Tom, as he simply nodded before throwing him the keys and sitting next to Jacob on the couch.
"Do we have a plan?" Jacob nodded, as he started explaining how they would get out of there.
"They are coming back, you know." Harrison nodded, as they stayed silent, before hearing footsteps coming from the hall.
"We need to leave," said a frantic Y/n, as she speed walked over, Tom immediately coming to her aid, "They're here."
Harrison sucked in a breath, quickly peering outside the windows before closing them abruptly and grabbing both Jacob and Tom's forearms. "She's right. The found the safe house."
Black vans, similar to ones that were chasing them earlier, were outside their front lawn, parked and waiting. The agents were outside their doors, guns out, pointed directly at the front door. The director emerged from one of the vans, sunglasses on his face as he looked at the house before turning to Agent Hugh.
"Are you positive they're in there?"
"Yes sir, we just saw movement a couple minutes ago. Witnesses reported seeing a beat up black Porsche on the driveway no less than 2 hours ago. They're definitely here." he simply said, as they looked to the house.
"We need to get out." Jacob moved around, grabbing his duffel bags, before speed-walking to the kitchen.
"Osterfield!" Y/n got his attention as he turned, before she limped over to the couch, "Help me lean down."
"No, you can't be bending down. What do you need?"
"There's 2 guns down underneath the couch, grab them."
Quickly, he leaned down, his hand brushing the handle of a black gun, as he grabbed it before finding the other one. Tom was close to the door, as he looked over at Harrison, who threw him a gun. His palm clasped over the handle, before loading it and slipping it into the waistband of his jeans.
"How do we get out?" Tom asked, as they all meet up at the hallway.
"The only way we know how." Y/n said, locking eye contact with all of them. "Discreetly."
They had been outside, waiting, for at least a half hour. Agent Hugh kept checking his watch, the Director shifting from one foot to the other, as at least a dozen agents had their guns up, trained on the house. No one had moved.
"Agent Hugh?" the Director called him over, as he scurried quickly to his side. "I thought you said they were there."
"They were. We caught movement less than a half hour ago. They should be there." Agent Hugh said frantically, as he looked over at nearby agent, beckoning him over.
His hand reached out and grabbed the walkie from his hands, before quickly coming into contact with a nearby sniper perched from above and watching the house.
"Any movement?"
"No sir, it looks like.. oh shit."
"What? What do you see?"
"There's no one in the house, Agent."
"They're gone." the Director looked over, before he groaned.
"Great."
They had vanished, or so everyone outside thought. Being in the CIA had its perks; hand-to-hand combat, gun training, boxing lessons, and interrogation tactics.
But above all that, they were taught how to disappear.
Agents all across the world received endless amounts of training before going out into the field. They would be tested, interrogated, and shown the best techniques to disappear off the grid during a tough case. This was extensive CIA training, only the best of the best would be able to get through this.
It was tough.
But they made it through. All four of them.
"The next step of training is crucial to your skills as a CIA Agent. We expect only the best from everyone here." Dr. Sasha said, as everyone listened.
The room was big, pale grey walls surrounded the agents as they were sitting down, rows and rows of chairs and tables. The setup was similar to a classroom at a university, each row elevated 2 inches higher than the other. Agents of all ethnicities were watching Dr. Sasha, as she walked around the room, talking with both her lips and hands. She gestured a lot, and everyone took notice of that.
"Now, we're going to pair you up with another Agent, and both of you will be working together during these 4 months, as we test your ability to disappear off the grid, how well you adapt to foreign surroundings and interrogating your suspects."
Dr. Sasha's hands gripped the clipboard, as she started reading names off the list.
"Brown and Randall. Mason and Sean. Loera and Jackson. Y/L/N and Holland."
Her eyes gravitated over to the brown-eyed boy, as he locked eye contact with her and smiled.
"Meet with your partner, in a half hour, you will be assigned your topic." Dr. Sasha said as everyone stood up, greeting their partners for the next 4 months and sharing interests.
She stayed in her seat, knowing he would walk over and begin a conversation with her. Sure enough, his footsteps were heard making their way over to her, as he sat down in a chair next to her.
"Hi, I'm Tom. Tom Holland." he extended his hand, as she gripped it and shook it with a smile.
"Y/n."
"Nervous?" he asked, arms now crossed over his chest, eyes watching her every movement, as she sighed and shook her head.
"Ecstatic. You?"
"Ready to start." he answered, a smile on his lips as she mirrored his image.
