Madison POV

I couldn't sleep. I just couldn't. I mean, I wanted to but there was something, or more like someone in my head; Laurence. He was all I could think of; not romantically. I got over Laurence, but he still broke my heart.

I slowly got out of bed, putting on a coat. When walking out of the house, I was nervous even though I-- nevermind.. I couldn't go to him yet. I needed to figure what to say. I went to the docks, but someone was there. That someone was Laurence.

"Laurence." I sighed.

"Hello?" He waved to me, but acting as if he didn't recognize me.

"I know we haven't talked in months, but I needed to talk to you but for many reasons." I told him.

His face was confused but he just nodded.

"I think someone is after me, or at least watching me." I said, letting out my worries.

"What am I supposed to do about?!" He yelled at me. "You-You're just a person who kept coming to my house everyday, and then just stopped, I don't even know you!"

He didn't remember me. Of course.. Just wonderful. Only one person I know would do this. Aphmau. I don't how but she was one of the only people I knew who would do this and had the power to do it. But it still hurt.

I was angry. I was so angry I pushed him in the water, but I didn't push him.. It was like a wind sent him off. Did I have powers?

"Well it's about time.." I heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Huh? Who is there?" I questioned.

"Well, you probably heard of me; names Adder." She smirked.

"Oh. Your her." I asked, shocked.

"What did you except?" She questioned.

"A bit more-- frightening." I answered.

"Well I could change that with some blood." She said.

"No, no that's not needed." I nervously laughed.

"Very well."

"Um so why are you exactly here?"

"For you of course!" She responded.

"Me?"

"Yes of course! You are the key to getting rid Aphmau, your sister." She smirked.

My face lit up. "R-really?"

"Yes, she needs pay back for killing Zane and killing my--" She stopped before she could say anymore.

"I can't!"

"I know you want to. She took your love of your life away from you, traumatized her own kids, and made people fear her. She even got Aaron killed. She also has been keeping a secret from you, your whole life." She explained.

"A secret?"

"You have magic, even stronger than hers, powers that make her seem weak."

"She kept that from me?" I frowned.

"With you in the picture she would never be able to have people respect her or come to her for help."

I was angry. She never told me I had magic. We could of destroyed Shad in the first place and she would of never became a bi-- a rude person."

"Now will you join me or not?" Adder asked.

"I accept..."
