Chapter Twenty-Three | A Christmas Gift [Pt. 1]

With The Magical Time Skip It Was Time To Skip To 3 Months Later...

It was three months since I've seen Phoenix Drop. Today was the day, that everything would be normal, and the day I would go back to Phoenix Drop, and the day I'd bring back Aaron. I found how to bring him back while the others visited Phoenix Drop to visit and for Aphmau's engagement and pregnancy party.. Kaylee was the only one who known about the pregnancy. I hid the baby bump with a spell from Lucinda.  Anyways the way to bring Aaron back was have the divine warriors create a circle around Shad. I had the relics safe since Kenmur, Emmayln, and I found them.

As we were walking to Phoenix Drop I felt hesitation. 

"Guys.. I can't do this." I announced. They didn't know about me being pregnant, but they did know about my feelings I had toward Laurence.

"How about we keep you in the library and you can keep yourself in a cloak.  I remember you said you brought one just in case." Emmayln suggested.

"Oh yes!" I agreed.

The soft black cloak with red inside. 

We walked when we reached Phoenix Drop. Dante opened the gates looking at me weird since he didn't see my face.

I walked over to Kaylee who was looking off distance. "Hey Kaylee," I whispered to her. "Can you get Donna to go to the library, please." 

Kaylee only introduced herself to everyone, as she was not here very long.

I continued walking to the library. 

Finally we got to the library.

"Okay stay here, after we know no one lives in your old house." Kenmur told me.

"Thanks you guys." I thanked them.

"Your our friend, and possibly the only one who really get us." Emmayln said.

They exited and that left me looking at books. It felt like there was less.. No one was interested in the studies and history. 

"Come back here girls!" I heard a familiar voice.

"Hahaha!" I heard childish voices coming my way. 

I looked down, just in case.

The doors opened, and out of curiosity I looked of where their voices led them, and looked at them.

"Mommy!" Lilith Garnet and Alina exclaimed with such happy voices.

They still they thought I was their mom.. Wow. Guess they never forgot about me. I looked up and saw Garroth.

"Madison?" Garroth questioned.

"Shh!" I shushed him.

"I can't believe it's you, I didn't know you'd be back so soon." 

"Well I'm back for now." I shrugged.

"Well what are you doing here?" He asked.

"Kenmur and Emmayln are seeing if my house is owned by someone else since Aphmau taken control." I told him, and rolling my eyes when I said Aphmau.

"Well it's weird but Aphmau gave a buyer since she sold it which she never does the house but I got a letter saying it was for you and it was signed by these by these numbers:

I stood there quiet. I knew who it was from and it was very odd.. When I was little my mother taught me about 'Binary Code' which could translate to words.. There was one name my mother taught me in binary code and I never knew I would need it or remember it...

"Well then," I sighed. "Let's go to my house."

As we walked there the girls held my hand. They were so adorable and energized.

We walked to my house, it looked.. beautiful. 

"How does it look like the way I made it?" I questioned.

"I made sure it was perfect, and the girls help too." Garroth answered.

That made me so happy that Garroth remembered me.

We went inside and I sat on the couch while the girls I jumped on the couch.

"Dang it.." I remembered about Donna going to library to see me, but it was fine I could see another day.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I wanted to tell you something, and it very serious." I skipped to the point.

"I can get Aaron back." I smiled.

"Really?" He smiled back.

"Who's Aaron?" Lilith asked confused.

"Aaron is your Mommy Aphmau's.. friend."

"Aphmoo is not our mommy, you are." Lilith told me.

"Aphmeow scares us, she's a meowster." Alina said; scared.

"Oh." I realized, "There is nothing to be scared of I will always protect you, or Uncle Garroth, okay?" 

"Okay mommy." They agreed.

"Now go into my room, there is sticks there and a big toy." I told them.

"YAY!" They cheered and ran into my room.

"Garroth there is something else too."

"What is it?" He asked.

"Well, I'm pregnant and there is a 50 percent chance Laurence is the dad."

"50 percent chance?" He asked.

"Well it's confusing, but it could be either Laurence or Gene." I explained.

(A/N They ran into Sasha and she confirmed she saw Gene because she can see through morphs she was also at the bar)

"Oh, okay." He said calmly.

He took it calm surprising.

"But.. there is a Christmas party tonight.. You should come." Garroth asked. 

"I'll be there." I confirmed even though I would be a nervous train wreck.

"And, how do you not have a baby bump?" Garroth laughed.

"It's a secret." I laughed back.
