Chapter Eight | Celebrations & Crashes [Pt. 3]

  I frowned. I never thought this would happen. Me, becoming lord of Phoenix Drop. But, she would of wanted me to do this. I put my brown, long hair in a braid, and let my dark brown eyes show. But, I didn't want my hair up in anything. I wanted to be different, since I always had my hair in a ponytail or in a braid. I release my hair of a braid, and my hair became curly. Perfect. 

"Wow, you look beautiful!" Lilith Garnet complimented.

"You look like a princess!" Alina jumped around and smiled. 

"You guys are much of princess too!" I told them.

"Wait, if we are princess.. Then you are queen." Alina explained.

"Yea!" Lilith agreed.

"Well Lilith and Alina, it's time to go to the dinner." I announced. "I'm going to take you guys to Zoey. She is a nice lady who is having dinner with other little kids." 

"I remember her!" Lilith raised her hand.

"Good." I smiled. We walked out the house, and I dropped them off to Zoey and the other kids. I took a deep breath... and walked to the village dinner. I felt closer, and closer. But, as I got closer I felt more nervous. I soon realized I was already there, and everyone was looking at me. Laurence was there like he promised. I sat down.

"Kawaii~Chan thinks Madison~Senpai looks beautiful." Kawaii~Chan complimented.

"Thank you." I thanked her.  

"I forgot to remind you." Dante began to say. "You have to choose two guards to accompany you during visits to other villages or battles." 

"Oh. Well I'd like to choose Travis and Garroth." I announced. Everyone cheered as we ate.

10pm

Logan began to play music. Never knew werewolves had such good taste in music. Laurence had disappeared when I announced the guards that would stay by my side. I didn't want to dance, because it didn't feel right. I stood off to the side near a tree.

"Lord Madison?" A familiar voice said.

"Garroth. Hey." I greeted him. Garroth and I have gotten really close over the month too.  

"What are you doing? Shouldn't you being have fun?" He questioned.

"Yea, but.." 

"No, buts. You should be having fun before the work actually comes." 

"Oh fine." I told him. He grabbed my hand, and took me to the dance floor. We danced. I felt comfortable with like I did with Laurence.

1am

 It was a long night and Garroth took me to my house. I assumed Lilith and Alina were put in bed  by Zoey. "Bye, Garroth. Thanks, for a persuading me to have fun." 

"It was the least I could do, you are the lord." He brought up.

"Yea," I frowned.

"Have a good night." Garroth told me. There was a awkward silence, but he look me in the eyes. He grabbed my face, and kissed me. It felt passionate. It felt good..
