It's Hard To Love Again.

You deserve a chance.

Manami weeps bitterly as an ashamed Asano stands silently.

"Okuda....I....I am really sorry. I didn't....  Didn't know anything and I... i didn't mean... To......hurt you" apologizes Asano.

Manami slowly wipes away her tears.

"It's okay Asano kun its not your fault" says Manami.

"No Okuda...... I really really-"

"Asano kun" interrupted Manami.

"I really mean it is not your fault" she looks up at Asano and gives a smile.

"O..O...Okuda are you okay?" Asks a confused Asano.

"It really does feel a little better." She takes in a deep breath and lets it out relaxing herself.

Flashback starts

"What are you saying onii chan?" Asks a confused Manami.

"You have to tell Asano everything that happened between you and Karma"

"Are you mad onii chan" squeaks Manami.

"I am telling what you should do"

"But onii chan-"

"Trust me" interrupts Rei.

"You will feel a lot better when you have nothing to hide"

Flashback ends.

"I really am a big idiot" a dejected Asano sits beside Manami.

"I guess you really are. Who proposes someone by kissing." says Manami.

A silence goes through the room until Manami bursts out laughing.

"You look so serious, you need to lighten up a little" exclaims Manami as Asano lets out a small sigh of relief.

"It was on new year last year when it all happened"

Flashback starts.

Karma pulls Manami close to him and wraps his hand around her waist.

"K....karma kun..... I...am not ready for....this" a cherry faced Manami covers her face.

"Oh come on Okuda san" he kisses and sucks her neck.

"I'm your boyfriend. You won't even let your boyfriend enjoy?" Says Karma in a seductive tone.

"I....I...I am scared"

"I am here, you don't need to be scared of anything" Karma slowly unbuttons her shirt as they got engaged with each other.

The next morning Manami wakes up and finds herself alone in the bed. She dials Karma's number but it doesn't connect.

2 weeks pass by but there was still no answer from Karma. Manami fidgets around the house when suddenly she falls unconcious.

She wakes up in a hospital and finds an upset brother looking at her.

"Whose the person?" Asks Rei.

"What do you mean Onii chan?" Asks a confused Manami.

"You are PREGNANT" shouts an angry Rei as Manami's eyes went wide open with shock.

"Who is the man?" Rei asks again.

"His name is Akabane Karma. He was my junior school classmate" reveals a teary eyed Manami.

"Why didn't you ever tell me about him?" Asks a concerned Rei.

"I'm sorry Onii chan, I am really sorry- Manami breaks down as Rei tries to comfort her.

A month passes by Manami was one month pregnant, after a long thought she had decided to keep the baby.

She walks around the house cleaning it when she finds a note. It was Karma's handwriting, it was for Manami.

"Okuda I am really sorry I was too drunk last night and I don't remember properly but let's forget everything for now because I have to leave for US for my studies but I promise I will contact you back once I reach there."

A heartbroken Manami falls to the ground. She couldn't believe what she just read. Karma had left her alone without telling her anything.

The week that followed was full of depression for Manami. Manami would just lay on her bed doing nothing.

"Manami you need to walk around for your baby's health" says Rei who tries to pull Manami out of her bed when she doesn't respond.

A worried Rei rushes where to the hospital where the doctor declared a miscarriage and that Manami had lost her baby.

A heartbroken Manami silently cries as an equally heartbroken Rei breaksdown looking at his sister's condition"

Flasback ends.

"It must have been hard for you"

"Yes...yes it was but I feel much better now its like a heavy burden has been taken off my chest" she breaths a sigh of relief.

"I'm really sorry for all the harsh things I did to you" apologizes Asano.

"It's all thanks to you that I am able to smile again. So you don't need to apologize Asano kun" replies Manami with a smile.

"So then will you move on forward now" asks Asano.

"Of course" she replies with a smile.

"With me" says Asano.

Manami falls silent, the smile disappears from her face, she looks down ignoring eye contact with Asano.

Asano stares at her for quiet sometime before he gets up and takes Manami's hand slowly getting her back up.

"I am scared about being in love again with anyone else. I cannot be heartbroken again, I don't want you to break my heart" says Manami.

"I know you are scared about it and all...but give me a chance to know you better and I want you to know about me better as well. I deserve that at least for making you smile again" Asano holds Manami's hands.

"I guess you do deserve a chance" replies Manami.

"Let's go now then. There is still a lot of work left at the cafe" Asano walks out with Manami heading towards the cafe.
