It's Hard To Love Again.

Love is fake.

It has been a month since Asano had proposed Manami and waiting for an answer but there was no response from Manami instead she has been ignoring Asano lately. Asano couldn't understand why she was doing all this.

Manami was walking along with Aiko when Asano approaches her from behind.

"Okuda wait" he calls out.

Hearing his voice Manami runs without looking back. He chases after her but Aiko stops him.

"Aiko san what are you doing? I need to talk to her" protested Asano.

"Look Asano kun. Manami san looks really upset for now"

"It has already been a month" yelled Asano.

"I know it has been a month but you have to keep in mind that she was heartbroken not long ago"

"Why does she still have to cling to her past?" Complained an annoyed Asano.

"Asano kun It's not easy for a girl to forget her past easily, she may have gotten stronger but her past still haunts her"

"Well all that happen is that she broke up with Karma because he left for US and that's it. Why is she so upset about it?"

"I'm sure that is not only it. There is something more than what the eyes see" says Aiko.

"What do you mean by that?" Asks a confused Asano.

"There is still something bothering her and it's not letting her open up to anyone"

"I have to know why she is ignoring me" declares a firm Asano.

"Just give her time and don't overdo things Asano kun" saying that Aiko leaves.

Manami lays down on her bed quiet uncomfortable, the memory of the kiss flashed back in her mind as a small tear drops from her eyes.

"Why is this happening to me. Kami sama help me please" cries a frustrated Manami.

There is a knock on the door as Rei walks in with a tray of food.

"Lil sis. Let's eat some food now"

"I am not hungry onii chan"

"What do you mean you're not hungry. You haven't eaten since the morning and I know you did not have lunch in the college also. Asano told me"

Manami gets up from her bed.

"That guy always has to butt in at everything" cursed Manami.

Rei sits beside Manami.

"Manami, I know what happened between you and Karma can never be erased but you need to forget about him and move on with your life and think about Asano as well"

"O...onii chan....what are you saying?" Asks a stunned Manami.

"That guy is honest, he told me that he proposed you. He really cares about you. He really loves you."

"Love is fake" yelled Manami.

"Karma kun was my world, he was my everything, he said that he loves me more than anything else but he still left me onii Chan. How am I supposed to ever fall in love again?" Manami starts weeping.

"Manami look here" Manami wipes her tears and listens to Rei.

"there is only one way for you too let go of this past of yours"

The college autumn festival started as all the students were excited for the festival. Manami's class hosts a maid cafe. Manami, Aiko and the girls of the class are all dressed beautifully as maids.

The class was busy with serving the guests. Manami with her hands full walks towards the customers when Asano stops her way.

"Okuda. I need to talk to you now"

"I have a lot of work Asano kun please let me go"

"Why are you ignoring me Okuda?" Asks an annoyed Asano.

"Is it because I annoyed you?"

"No... That's not it"

"Is it Karma then?" He asks again.

Manami stays silent looking down on to the ground.

"I knew it was him" Asano calls out Aiko.

"Aiko san. Can you please take these trays from Okuda, I need to talk to her"

"Asano kun what are you doing" protested Manami as Aiko takes away the trays.

Asano then pulls Manami by her hand and takes her outside the classroom.

"Don't over do it Asano kun" Aiko silently wishes Asano.

"Asano kun please stop this. I need to go back to the cafe" protested Manami but Asano was in no mood to listen to her.

He takes her to an empty room and slams her on the wall, she squeaks in pain.

Asano places his hands besides Manami's head and goes close to her face.

"Tell me Okuda why is Karma still in your memory"

Manami closes her eyes and forces her lips to close.

"Okuda tell me. What is that you are hiding from me that you still can't let go of Karma" Asano's voice gets louder.

Manami remains silent, she soon starts trembling.

"You have to tell me Okuda else you will never be able to forget your past" screams Asano.

"Why do you still think about Karma? why?"

"Because he made me pregnant and left me" screams Manami as tears starts falling from her eyes and she weeps bitterly.

A shocked and stunned Asano lets go of her as she falls down to the ground weeping bitterly.
