"I want to get serious." Ken said and I just stared at him speechless.

Pause and rewind to earlier.

"So yeah, I'm single." Liam said explain what went down last week. "I told you something was off about her vibe." Pearl said and Liam rolled his eyes "I'm sort of tired of these I told you so shit." He said and I just kicked my feet up on the table. Justin whispered something in Pearl's ear and she blushed.

My eyes widen and I smirked at her. "So, What's going on between You two." I asked and she glared at me. Her cheeks burning red, "Well, I sort of confessed my feelings to her last week ... I'm still waiting on her response." Justin said. My eyes widen and my jaw dropped "I fucking knew it!" Liam shouted and I laughed. Pearl's eyes widen in horror "You what?!" She squeaked "I mean come on the signs were obvious." I said backing Liam up. "So. Do you like him?" Liam smirked and she chewed on bottom lip.

"Do you." I pressed and she sighed "The feelings are there but-" Liam got up and screamed "I CALLED IT! I FUCKING CALLED IT!" He said overly excited. I smiled in amusement, It's like everyday I get to see a new side of him. Whether it was scary or not and I loved it. "But! I'm scared to enter a relationship with someone like you." She said and Justin tilted his head, His face reading pure confusion.

Trust me, I was just as confused. "What do you mean 'Someone like me'?" He asked "I mean, You and Liam are super rich. Once you leave college you will probably find someone better than me. I'm not ready for that type of pain. I don't think I will ever be ready for that type of pain." She said and I just stared at her, She's usually biting his head off or being perky and bubbly with someone ... I have never seen this side of her.

He shook his head "I'm not like that. Forget my money. I really just want you. I won't leave you for anyone else. I put that on my life." He said determined.

She just stared at him with a small smile "Okay." She mumbled and I smiled "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked her and she nodded. Liam jumped up and cheered again. I laughed and clapped at the scene that was being played out in front of me. It was beautiful. Pearl looked at me with a smile and blushed. "I can't believe that just happened." She said "Well you better believe it." I smirked "I told you it would happen." I said.

She rolled her eyes smiling. "You can read the future?" Justin asked confused "No, I just had a strong feeling that it would. I can just jump really high, Blast shit with my eyes and move things." I said with a slight shrug. There was a knock on the door.

"Were you expecting anyone?" I asked Liam and he shook his head "You?" He asked and I shook my head, Ken was still out of town. He should be coming back next week. I walked up to the door and found him standing there. Confused I closed the door and looked back at my friends who rolled their eyes. I reopened the door to find Ken standing there with a small smile on his face but something was off about him, I could feel it.

"What's wrong?" I asked immediately and he flinched "What?" He asked confused "What's wrong?" I asked slower as I stepped out outside and closed the door behind me. "I wanted to talk to you about something important." He said and I walked over to the driveway then leaned on Liam's car. "What's up" I asked "I been thinking about a few things and I really feel like you were God sent." He said and I blushed, He chuckled a bit and shook his head "No seriously, I feel like you are my soul mate. And what we are doing is child's play so I want to get serious." He said and I just stared at him speechless.

"Sophia?" He said, I just blinked at him, Still in shock. He wants to get serious?! With me?! No matter how much I like him I just can't! Thats my life, I already told enough people about myself ... I don't even know how he will react. What if he rejects me?! Wha- "Sophia." He said again and I sighed "Can I sleep on it?" I asked "Sure." He said, I'll go by his house with my answer in the morning. I waved goodbye and walked into the house glumly. "What happen?" Justin asked, both Liam and Pearl's head snapped in my direction before the three of them rushed over to me. "He wants to be serious." I mumbled.

"Hell no." They said in unison and I shot them a confused look "Why?" I asked "I don't like him." Pearl said "I don't trust him." Justin said "Just don't okay." Liam said and I groaned. "I really like him. I just know that if I get serious then I got to tell him about the real me." I said and Liam ran his hands through his jet black hair "Just don't do it. You'll regret it." He said "Why?" I asked "Just don't." he said then walked off,

Why is he being so weird now?

I sighed then jumped up to my room. I closed and locked the door behind me then sat on my bed.

Do I really want to get serious with him? I mean I really like him but I don't know how he will react to me my situation.

I groaned and laid down staring at the ceiling. What he said to me replayed in my head like a broken CD player.

What we are doing is child's play so I want to get serious.
