Ella's POV

I woke up the next morning in my own room. I totally forgothat I was back home. I checked the time on my phone. 10:30 am. I got 3 texts from Hayes.

Goooooood morning!

Ella!!!!!!

Come over as soon as you wake up!

I went over to Hayes's house in my pajamas. I knocked on the door and Skylynn answered the door.

"Ellaaaa" Skylynn said jumping into my arms.

"Hi Sky, where's Hayes?" I ask her

"In his room" she said pointing to the staircase

"Okay I'll talk to you later" i said and i ran up to Hayes's room

"Hey Hayes" i said jumping on his blue bean bag

"Hey El" Hayes said pulling me in for a hug. I then heard two fimilar voices. I knew one was Nash but I couldn't I figure out who the other voice was. I peeked out of Hayes's room and saw who the voice was coming from. Taylor. Taylor Micheal Caniff. I've been thinking about Taylor a lot. I feel kind of bad about what i did to him at the fair but then again he knew I was taken.

"Hey Hayes you want to come out and play basketball with us?" Taylor asked Hayes

"Sure man. Ella do you want to come?" Hayes asks.

"No I'm actully going to go back home, I'll come by in about 2 hours or so" i say

"Okay see you then" Hayes said. He kissed me on the cheek and i left his house and walked right across the street.

I walked in to see my mom crying at the kitchen table.

"Mom whats wrong?" I asked very worried.

"Nothing its just that it my anniversary." My mom said. I don't like to talk about it but when I was 10 years old, my dad died. It was really rough for me and my mom.

"Its okay mom." I say hugging my mom really tight. My dad was my best friend. I was daddy's little princess. He was the one who taught me about my favorite sport. Softball. My dad was amazing.

"I'm going to go take a shower" I tell my mom

"Okay Ella" My mom says
