Ella's POV

After Lauren told me that I got all my stuff and ran downstairs.

"Have fun today" my mom said

"Thanks bye love you" I said as I slammed the door

I ran over to hayes's house. I ran the doorbell. No answer. I ran it again. Still no answer. I banged on the door like a ferocious beast! STILL NO ANSWER. I decided to walk to the field that hayes's game was at. As I was walking I checked the time. 8:43. Whoops! I was supposed to be at Hayes at 8 because he had to be at the field at 8:15. When I got to the field I sat on the bleachers next to Elizabeth and Skylynn.

"Hey Ella where were you this moring?" Elizabeth asked

"I lost track of time" I said

"Oh hayes was getting nervous that you weren't going to come!" Elizabeth said

"MOM!" hayes said

"I'm sorry. I'm not lying though" Elizabeth said in her country accent

I went to Hayes to give him a hug.

"Good luck!" I said

"Thanks" he replied

He turned to go back to the field and I smacked his butt.

"ELLA! I know you want this but.." Hayes said

"I'm giving you a good luck smack" I said. What the heck is a good luck smack? I thought to my self

I went to the bleachers. The game has begun! Hayes is so amazing at football. I got really excited when ever Hayes got the ball. The 5th time Hayes got the ball I was so excited because he was close to the goal touchdown thingy. He was running closer to the yellow thingy and he tripped and was laying there for a long time. Elizabeth ran over there.

"Come" I said pulling Sky's arm

We ran down the bleachers and onto the field.

"Ella would you mind walking Skylynn back home I'm going to take Hayes to the hospital because I think he is seriously injured" Elizabeth said

"Sure no problem. Keep in touch" I said as I was grabbing Skylynn's hand

We walked home and all I could think about was the worst possible situations. I was so nervous.
