ELLA'S POV
Yes. First softball game of the season. I love softball with all my heart but sometimes it brings back bad memories because my dad taught me how to play and he was also my coach. I went to my closet to get out my uniform. I turned my uniform around and looked at the back. My number was 5 the month that my dad passed. I was just about to get changed when I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" I said
"Hi babe" Hayes said
"Hello" I said while I hugged Hayes
"Are you coming to my game?" I asked
"Wouldn't miss it princess" Hayes said. "Mom and skylynn are coming too"
You know when your so close to someone you refer to their mom as mom. Ya. That's Hayes and I.
"Oh ok great" I said. "Turn around I'm going to the get changed"
"Ok" Hayes said
I got changed quickly.
"You may turn around little boy" I said laughing
"Hey I'm taller than you and older" Hayes said sassy
"Fine I gotta go to my hair" I said
I went to my bathroom and did my hair. I did one French braid. I went downstairs to pack my bag. I got a water and I waited in the car with Hayes to go to my softball game.
