ten: the trident of poseidon

STEPPING OFF OF the boat onto the sand covered with thousands of crystals, was absolutely beautiful. The glimmering crystals reflected the land, creating a landscape captivated by a picture of stars. Iris bent down, glazing her fingers over the glistening solid, her lips parted in awe. She followed Carina in suit, as the woman had took notice of a particular crystal that was a cherry red color.
Carina frowned at the crystal, her hands gripping onto it. "Why isn't it glowing?" She questioned in confusion.
Barbossa had took a gander at the crystal. "Finish it, Carina," he stated, handing over a small portion of the same crystal from the one that Carina was holding.
Iris recognized it. "That's the one from the journal. It's the missing star," she observed, as the two nodded in response.
Carina had took a hold of it, placing it in a small gap. Once she did, a bright light of red sparked out, spreading out onto three other crystals. All watched in amazement, realizing it created the outline of the trident. Not even a second later, the island seemed to shake, as the ocean erupted. Everyone turned to look at the sea, spotting the water rippling into two.
"What's going-" Before Iris could finish her sentence, the ground beneath her, Carina, and Jack caved out from under them. They fell into an underground lair, in-between the two split ocean.
"What in the name of Merlin, is this place?" Iris asked, staring around at her surroundings in astonishment.
"Poseidon's tomb," Jack said.
Carina had guided the two away into a path, as the other two followed in suit. The tomb was dark, wet, and coated with corals and other varies sea plants.
"Look," Iris pointed out, spotting a stick standing in the ground. "There it is. The Trident of Poseidon." The princess break out into a smile-seeing the trident made her think of hope. Hope of being able to free Henry, and break his father's curse.
"Jack!" A voice yelled from behind the three-Henry Turner. He ambushed the pirate from behind, the cling of sword echoing through the cavern.
Carina and Iris were pushed down to the ground by Jack, as they were stunned by the sudden attack. Iris immediately jumped up, realizing it was Henry. "Henry!" Iris shouted, coming in-between the two fighting pirates.
Iris stared at Henry, knowing something was very different. She knew Henry wouldn't of fought Jack this way. This man fighting wasn't her Henry-it was Salazar. Iris slowly backed away, her breathing becoming heavier. She just wanted to find Henry.
Jack had made sure to block every which way the sword came at him from. Iris had caught the attention of Carina, running up to the hill where the trident was at. Salazar's undead army of pirates had appeared out of nowhere, their swords steadily in their hands.
