My name is Terra Major and two years ago Chicago became a war zone. I was there when it happened. Never again do I want to face that kind of destruction. I saw them, the robots who killed so many, I can never forget their bloody red eyes. How could anyone? Then I saw the other team, I guess you could say. They worked with us, us being humanity. They, they had cold blue eyes. I felt safe near them, but I had to flee. I ran as far as I could before I was able to reach any of the military safe holds that were around the city. I wasn't allowed to return home. The government felt that I lived too close, so I was shipped off to Colorado. I didn't really mind cause I got to live in a cabin in the mountains.

6 months ago, I had started to date a man named Thomas Mason. I truly thought that I loved him and he me, but I was wrong. 3 weeks ago, we decided to take a trip to Texas with no real destination. After a week here in Texas we stopped in a small town, rented a motel room and went exploring. Come night time we head into a bar. After a few rounds, I noticed that Thomas hadn't drunk as much as he normally would have, I was about to ask him if something was wrong when my mind started to get hazy. The next thing I knew, I was laying on the ground by the side of the road with nothing but the clothes on my back. I was far out from town, for it to only looked like a model set. I was beyond pissed.

In any sense, I had to get back to town, so I started my walk. It was probably around three pm when I made it to the motel that we had been at. I walked in badly sunburned and asked what the front desk knew. Thomas apparently paid whoever checked us out not to say anything. So, I asked to use their phone so I could call my credit union to freeze all of my accounts and to terminate any of my cards. I wasn't gonna let that Bastard get anything. After that, I called the IRS to report that my Social security card has been stolen and finally I called the police to say that I was essentially kidnapped, ditched and robbed by Tomas Mason. I was told that they will put an APB out on him.

Even with all of that, I was still stuck in Texas. After I made my calls I just walked outside and sat on the curb. I was hungry, tired and dehydrated. I needed help but who would want to help me. I'm was a badly burned, out of state, stranger. Some force out there must have been looking out for me because I crossed paths with a man by the name of Cade Yeager. I was still sitting on the curbside when I saw this man struggling to get something into the back of his truck. No one seemed to want to help him, so I raced over. After he thanked me for helping he finally noticed that I was really burned.

He offered to bring me to his house, so I can get out of the sun and could deal with my burns as a way to thank me further. I couldn't argue, I needed to get my sunburns treated before they got worse. Once we got to his place, I was introduced to his daughter Tessa. While Tessa helped cover my burns I told them my story and they offered to let me stay. I said that I can't just stay, so Cade said I could work for him, essentially earn my keep. I knew about Robotics, Mechanics, and guns so I agreed.

It's been a year now. I learned that Thomas was arrested when he tried to get access to my money, stupid. I told Cade and said I could pay him back for everything, but he turned it down. When I tried to leave both he and Tessa insisted I stay. They saw me as part of the family now. To some degree, Tessa saw me as a motherly figure but if she talked about me to anyone, it was always Aunt Terra. While Cade won't let me pay the bills I do however get away with getting the food and more times than naught paying for the 'Junk' as Tessa calls it. In fact, I'm with Cade on our way to the theater to do some hunting. When I woke up today I had a feeling that something extraordinary would be happening soon, and usually, I'm right.

I glanced down at my phone and saw that I had a game running. Didn't even realize it. When I looked back up Cade had parked the truck and was already outside. As I climbed out Lucas showed up. I internally groaned not wanting to deal with his stupid ass. I have on several occasions asked Cade if I could just pay him, so he would shut up about money, but he won't let me. "You know some men would be happy just to have a job." I heard Cade say to Lucas. I followed behind slowly, taking in the old building. I split up from the boys to head into the main area. As I walked down the isles to the stage, I ran my fingertips across the dusty warn seats.

I climbed onto the stage still enchanted by the old building. A crash sounded to the left of me causing me to jump. I spun around and gave Lucas a 'what the hell' look after I saw the look on his face. Cade soon joined me on stage, but I barely noticed. My attention was drawn away to the hole covered truck face. 'What?' I thought. Carefully I made my way over to the truck. "Hey, Cade?" I called out as I climbed up and opened the door. Cade arrived just as motor shells fell out of the truck cab. We shared a look before I jumped down and called out to the Landlord's grandson.

"Hey, Pansy. How much for the truck?"
