It's been a few weeks since I came clean with the bots and Cade about my depression. Out of everyone, Bee has been keeping close to me, he insists on driving me when we are on the road. Yesterday we reached my old home in the North. Nature took over while I had been gone, grass grew tall and flowers blanketed the ground. Beyond it, all the house looked untouched by time. Cade and I made our way inside to sleep in a bed finally, but I couldn't sleep.

I left the house sometime during the night to head down to the lake at the end of the driveway. Nanos formed into firefly lights and danced across the glass-like lake surface along with the beach surrounding me. After some time staring up at the full moon, Bee joined me silently. He didn't make any noise or tried to talk with me which I appreciated him just being there with me.

At some point, I fell asleep seeing as I woke up to sunlight hitting my face. Groaning I raised my right hand up to block the sunlight from my eyes. As sand fell from my skin, I spotted the sun rising over the tall evergreens across the lake. Regrettably, I knew I needed to get up, so I slowly sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes before I stretched out my stiff body. Nanos lazily floated in the air like a swarm as I stood up. I slowly began my walk back up to my old house, patting the hood of Bee's alt-mode as I passed him.

His radio flicked between stations making gibberish to let me know he was awake too. There was some distance between us before I heard him shifting back to his bi-petal form. I stopped at the old oak tree that marked the driveway, the house sat at the top of the hilled driveway. I couldn't go any closer, Bee stopped next to me and looked down at my small form. "What's wrong?" He asked through the radio stations. I looked up at his face with a soft sigh.

"We shouldn't be here. After everything that's happened in the last 3 and a half years, I feel like I'm trespassing here now. It's too pure for us to disturb it at all, it feels like a lifetime ago that I last stepped foot on this land." I spoke softly as I looked back to the house that seemed to loom over me. Bee whorled at my words before he left me to inform the others that we are leaving. I turned away to face the water again, seeing Nanos turn into a dog and bound over to me happily.

About two months after Optimus left, we discovered that Nanos was beginning to have consciousness. So, I still have control of it but it can act on its own for my benefit. Almost like a young child that wants to cheer up their saddened parent. I gave a small smile as I walked over to sit under a tree whose branches dipped into the water below. K-9 Nanos trotted over to me and curled around my body; I watched the water as I pressed a hand to my empty stomach that begged for no food.

The sun was high above me by the time Cade came down to where I am at the tree. "Hey, Bee told us you can't stay here any longer. Hound is looking for where we could go next. Here, I brought you something to snack on if you are up to it." Cade said as he crouched down next to me, passing me my water bottle and a bag of veggie fries. I gave him a small smile as I took the bag and bottle from him. "Thanks, and I- I'm sorry," I said softly and got a confused look in return. "Why are you apologizing?" Cade asked with a heavy sigh, sitting down from his crouched position. "Well, we've been looking for a long while to find someplace safe to stay but I can't handle being here any longer. This place would be perfect wouldn't it, if it wasn't because of me?" I asked with a frown pulling at my lips.

Cade sighed again as he ran a hand through his hair. "Truthfully Terra, I feel like this place is too peaceful. If we got comfortable here, then we drop our guards and we don't know what group is after us now." Cade said before actually sitting down. He sighed again as he leaned forward, elbows resting on his knees. "Any idea where we should head next, staying North is probably good due to the amount of tree coverage," Cade asked me as I slowly at the bag of food and sipped at my water.
