Back into the Wild

Chapter 3: The Climb

After the battle ended the seven cats in my clan all greeted and congratulated me on my success in the battle. Not to long after they all congratulated me my strong stature faltered and I fell.

Nightstripe showed up next to me in a heartbeat. She got one look at my side and shook her head. "You all need to back up, this wound is deeper than it appears. She needs some room." I heard all the cats that had gathered around me back up away from me. "I am going to need some cobwebs, some goldenrod, it's a real tall plant and has yellow flowers, and some yarrow." The cats went to Nightstripe's  den to go and get the herbs.

I opened my eyes and saw Nightstripe standing over me and Redclaw and Singetail walking over the cardboard box that is being used as a medicine cat den. They soon had the plants in their jaws and gave them to Nightstripe, "Thank you," she started dressing my wound, chewing the marigold and yarrow into a poultice and applying it on to my wounds then covering it with cobwebs. "You better be careful, that cat has sharp claws. Your lucky, that gash almost hit some vital organs," I nodded, 'She would be a good asset to the clans, too bad she hates me,' trying to stand up, "Wo, there you ain't no Tigerclan cat you need to heal before you go start your epic quest" she says to me with the wisdom of all the medicine cats before her. I rolled my eyes and went to go and eat some of the chicken that I had found earlier, 'this morning felt like a moon ago' once I had eaten my share I walked to my den to fall asleep

I open my eyes to find myself in Starclan's hunting grounds. I see a cat that I have never heard of walk up to me. He has gray fur and blind blue eyes, "go to were sea and sky collide, that is were a warrior resides," he said his voice resonating through my skull. A second cat with a coat of golden brown fur walks up and says, "the warrior two will find you"

A third cat with fur black as the night sky on a full moon says "Cat three will come with four, making the grand total of cats increase some more,"

"Don't give up the cats will show epic skills when they are unaware you are there"

I open my eyes no longer in Starclan but in the temporary camp of Phoenixclan. Nightstripe is laying down in my den, she probably fell asleep working on the dressing of my wounds.

I slowly get up so I don't wake her and look outside. The moon is not in the sky but I still can't see any stars. Sighing I lay back down to get some much needed rest.

I have no more dreams and I when wake up it feels like I didn't sleep at all. Nightstripe is gone and I believe that she is getting some herbs for my dressing. I go out of my den and stand on the tall box.

"Phoenixclan, gather below me for a clan meeting, for I have important information to share with you." The cats that were already below me looked up and the rest walked out of their dens. Nightstripe walks out and she smells like herbs.

"I have gathered you all to pass on a message. Starclan visited me in my sleep and said these words, 'go to were sea and sky collide, that is were a warrior resides, warrior number two will find you, cat three will come with four, making the grand total increase some more, don't give up the cats will show epic skills, when they are unaware that you are there,'"

the cats looked as confused as I did, some one shouted out, "Well that was vague," most of the cats snickered,

"I know that it was vague, but that is all they had to say,"
