~Timothée~

The wedding started and I followed Rowan around like a lost puppy. I'm not a very shy person, but with the previous encounter with her brother, I was a little scared to engage in any more conversation.

Rowan had been talking with a woman who I figured out was her aunt and I stood listening as they conversed.

"And who might this be?" her aunt said looking to me. Rowan turned to me and smiled.

"This is Timothée, he's a friend from school."

"Hi, it's nice to meet you," I said, shaking her hand.

"Just a friend, huh?" she laughed, "you two look like quite the pair."

"We get along well, she's the only person I can stand to be around at school," I smiled, my face heating up a bit.

"Well isn't that sweet," Rowan's aunt spoke, "I have to go now the ceremony is about to start."

We said goodbye and headed toward the seats on the huge lawn. The wedding was nice and scenic. Towards the end of the ceremony I glanced over at Rowan who was wiping her eyes of the tears that still remained. I grabbed her hand and held it in mine, caressing her hand with my thumb.

"You okay?" I asked after the ceremony was finished.

"Yeah, im okay, I was just thinking about my mom..." she said. I could tell she was hurting.

"Let's do something fun."

I ran over to Ferris who was holding his camera and asked him if I could borrow it. I ran back over to Rowan and led her to the small forest of trees away from the party.

"Can I shoot you?" I asked and she hid her face.

"Noooo I don't know how to pose, I'm so awkward," she let out a breath.

"You don't have to pose, I just want to capture you in this moment."

I held up the camera to take a photo, but before I could take one she was already chasing me around. I ran away from her but turned around so I was able to take photos of her laughing and running.

"Timothée!"

"You can't stop me!" I laughed and ran quicker before tripping and tumbling to the ground.

"I'll take that," she said as she took the camera from my grasp.

"Pose for me," she giggled as I stood underneath the trees.

Our photo shoot lasted about 5 mins before she stopped to look that the pictures she had taken.

"Wow I look great," I said, still smiling.

"Yeah, you look...happy" she said, looking up at me.

I looked at her and we both stopped for a moment to take each other in.

"I'm happy with you."

We were only friends. We were only supposed to be friends, but somehow this felt to right. I had a crush on Rowan and I could only hope she felt the same about me.
