"I'm so stressed about college right now..." Rowan huffed as she rolled over on her stomach to face me.

"I am too," I said, "where do you want to go?"

"Well I really want to apply to NYU or USC but i'm a little nervous that I won't get it."

Hearing her say that brought a smile to my face. I had been wanting to go to NYU since I was a little kid and it's all i've ever dreamed of.

"I want to go to NYU too, but your right, getting into college is highly stressful," I agreed.

We were watching stranger things on netflix and she was eating tangerines, leaving the pieces of peel all over my bed.

"Hey Timmy, can I tell you something?" I nodded nervously but kept eye contact.

"I really enjoy being around you, like a lot and I don't know what I would do without you," she said biting her lip.

Don't bite your lip

I looked at her for a second and she inched closer, laying closer to me. Closer to my face.

"I enjoy being around you too I-"

I was cut of my her lips brushing mine. I cupped her face and kissed her softly.

"I really like you, Rowan" I said, pulling back.

She grabbed my face and our lips collided once more.

"I like you too Timothée."

We ordered pizza and cuddled the rest of the night. She laid on my chest and every so often she would look up at me and smile. I loved her smile. We laid like that for a while before she fell asleep. I kissed her forehead and dozed off into my own peaceful slumber.
