"Yeah, who can believe I'm actually up this early in the morning?" I gasped at Ariana.

"Oh, no one can. Lazy Mia up so early, huh? Life must be so cruel to you." She said sarcastically.

I roll my eyes at her. "I wasn't talking to you, Lil' Miss fatty. I was talking to Sandy." I stuck my tongue at her.

"You were talking to me, I know."

"Were not."

"Were too."

"Nope."

"Yup."

"Enough!" Sandy scolded both of us. We both mumbled fine under our breath but decided it was better to keep quiet.

Now I know you guys are wondering what the hell is going on. Then well, I shall clear your doubt. I had to wake up at 7 in the morning and reach the coaching center by 7:30 am. Yeah, I know its stupid but you don't wanna be lazy on the first day. Moreover, I have to get a good seat, probably in the front. So can't just wait for the last moment.
I reached there at 7:35 am, yeah I know five minutes late, only to find little Miss fatty and Sandy sitting peacefully there.

You guys must be wondering if I am a bully. No, I am not. I have been bullied in my earlier years of school so no thanks. Actually, Ariana is my best friend. She has been my best friend since six grade. She calls me a living lamppost and I call her fatty. So here we are now.

I let out a yawn and Ariana laughs at my face. "What? Now my yawn is funny?"

"No, I was just thinking a lamp post yawning like that." I roll my eyes. If you have not guessed already, yes, am tall. Taller than her. I'm a 5'7 but she is a 5'3.

Then I just noticed something. "You are simply jealous of my height, aren't you?" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"No. I'm not."

"You're lying," I smirk.

"No!" She defends. I know arguing with her is the best time pass but just then I notice the time. It's 7:45 am. There should have been like 20 students as mom said, I don't know about the boys though, but there is only three present.

I quickly turn to Ariana before she can continue her argument.
"Are we -" gesturing to the three of us, "- the only ones attending this class?"

"Nope, you idiot. There will be five guys, no idea who they are, but heard that they are from the Lakeside Academy. Then there is a girl from Holy Names School, and the others of St. George's, including the three of us. There are a total of 19 students in this class." I nod my head and start taking out my notebook for drawing or something. Believe me, I was bored.

Okay. So this was it. 19 students. 14 girls. The interaction was going to be easy with them. But the other five, oh god no! Honestly, I don't know how to interact with guys. I mean my first ever friend in kindergarten was a boy, but that was different. I study in St. George's which is an all girl's school. But, I am not gonna ruin the whole determination to be friendly with whoever it is. That's rude if I shut them out. They are human beings too, duh. And then there was Seth. He is a guy and I have talked to him, laughed at his lame jokes, so this is nothing new, I guess.

Just then the other girls, Lynn, Candice, Emily, Nancy, Rhea and another girl I don't know enters. Maybe she the Holy Name's girl. We were sitting awkwardly beside each other. So I thought I should show some of my manners.

"Hey, I'm Amelia Dalton. Call me Mia. What's your name?" I smiled and put out my hand for her to shake.

"I'm Serena. Nice to meet you." She replied shaking my hand. Her voice was so timid. Wow. Even I sounded like a boy in front of her. It won't be that hard to talk to the boys with my grumpy voice then. I laughed at the back of my head.
