"Hey there. Wait for me." Sian calls out behind me.

"No! I ain't waiting for anyone. You guys are crazy!"

"Come on Amelia, listen to me. I am sorry. Literally. I know the idea was stupid and moreover, this is not even happening and you know that."

"Yeah! Of course, it's not happening! How dare you think it was?! I will never go on a date with him. I am not going on a date with anyone!" I turn around to face her and cross my arms over my chest.

"I am sorry okay? I didn't think so much, to be more specific I didn't over analyze like you are doing right now. Seth likes you and that's why I wanted to help my brother. And now even you know he's moving away so that isn't happening" she simply shrugs.

I roll my eyes at her. "Whatever."
She nods and I continue, "see if you have any other stressful thing to talk about then talk! Because I already have a dreadful coaching class ahead so please I can't take all of this later. Give me a break, will you?"

"I didn't plan anything else I swear," she says and I nod. "Okay."

After taking a warm shower and getting dressed in jeans and a hoodie, I glance at the clock on the left wall of the room. It's four already. The classes start at 4:30 pm.

"Hey Sian, I am leaving for the class!" She is standing by the kitchen counter, probably stuffing herself with food.

"Have fun!" she chuckles. I tool my eyes.

The classes are just in the next block so yeah, it takes just 10 minutes to reach approximately.
But as I enter the room, the room is already filled with people. I ain't late, am I?

Am not. Mr. Frazier hasn't entered yet. So I can't be late.

I sit beside Lynn, one of my classmate. I am the last one sitting in the row. To be more specific, am being squished between the wall and Lynn. Oh god! Why in the hell did they come so early?

Just as I start sulking, notice the brown hair, three seats ahead. It's Ariana. But didn't she say she was going out?

"Hey fatty!"

"Hi." she frowns. I think she didn't even notice me before I called out. She was busy giggling with the new girl of our school, Karen.

"Something wrong?", I ask. I know I should give a man, but she's my best friend right?

" nothing", she looks away before giving me a half smile but it doesn't meet her eyes. I wonder what's wrong.

"Best friend's busy I see," Lynn smirks.

"None of your business! Get lost!" I snap.

But she's right. I don't understand why was she trying to ignore me. Why is she interested in Karen all of a sudden? And is she more important than me? Jealousy creeps in. And honestly, Lynn just fueled the anger boiling inside me. How dare she?

Just then I notice the guy sitting in front of me. Oh god! Today is the worst day of my life.

Those blue eyes are looking right towards me, for the first time. But his expression, that's not what I expected.

He frowned and then looked away as if he was in a great pain. And that's when I noticed the tears that slipped down my cheeks a few moments ago.

I make a curtain of hair on Lynn's side and start taking out my books and notebook.

The rest of the classes pass silently, only with the fact that I could not help but sneak peeks of him. All I remember is the frown on his face when he saw the moisture in mine. He looked at me like he knew how I was feeling, he knew what I was thinking as if he felt my loneliness. 'Oh god, Mia! You need to stop watching fiction.' I scold myself.

As soon as the class ends Ariana rushes outside with Karen as if she could care less. But I am determined to ask her what's wrong. So I rush after her.

"Ari-" As I was about to call out I heard something. It was her.

"Did you look at her-" I caught on a few sentences and immediately knew that she was me. "She looked-"

"Ariana," I called out softly. She looked mortified as if she had seen some ghost.
When she didn't respond I continued, "can we talk?" she looked at Karen and then me, I added with a disgusted expression, "Alone."

Karen said her goodbyes and we were left alone. "So talk."

"Whats wrong with you?" I scrunch my brows in confusion.
Seriously, whats wrong with her? why does she have to avoid me? I have so so many questions and damn it, I want answers. TO all.

"Nothing's wrong with me, okay? I just want to be alone right now. So ma'am, if you permit me, I would like to worry about other actually important stuff I have."

My cheeks were red by now. How dare she?! "I never wanted to take your precious time. You can leave!" I spat.

She rolled her eyes before walking away. If I heard her right, I think she muttered "selfish bitch" under her breath.

Tears pricked my eyes. I hugged myself as I made my way towards home. Suddenly everything felt colder despite the fact that I was wearing a sweater.

"Mia," my teacher called from behind. I turned around. I have heard he didn't speak much so this was quite surprising to me.

"Yes, sir?"

"You dropped this." He smiled. He actually smiled.

"Oh, sorry." I took the small heart-shaped keychain that had my name, 'Amelia' imprinted on it. "Thank you. It means a lot to me." I smiled at the memory of the little thing that rested on my palm. It was a bittersweet memory of mine. Dad gave me the keychain on the occasion of my 14th birthday.

It's just sad that the person who called my his princess was now abandoning me like I didn't even exist. I missed his adoration. I missed his care. I missed him.

Just then I realized that I was lost in my own word again.

I smiled at him. He understood my emotions. Well, I guess he did. His smile showed pure concern towards me. And it was the moment when my respect doubled for him.

"I think you should start walking already. You mom will be worried if you are late." He said before turning away. He looked at me and smiled, "See you soon."

It's then I noticed that I wasn't the only one standing there. It was him.

Much to my luck, Mr. Frazier approached him. This was my chance to hear his voice. Much to my surprise, as if he already knew what was going on the teacher's mind, he responded quickly, "I will be leaving in a short while. Just waiting for my father to arrive." Gosh! He seriously was something.

He nodded. But just then he turned again, his eyebrows knit together. "Zach?"

Zach. His name. God its just as beautiful as him. I know eavesdropping isn't something I m supposed to do, but I could not resist. I want to listen him say something. Anything.

I hid in the corner of the alley and tried to listen what they were talking about.

"Yes?" Zach firmly replied, confusion floating in his eyes.

"I would like to meet Mr. Frost."

"Okay. I will ask dad to meet you when he arrives. Is that okay?" he nodded, a smile playing on his lips. I was dumbfounded. I watched him in awe. How can he be so unfazed by it?

Our teacher left and I knew it was my cue to leave. Just then he glanced my way as if he acknowledged my presence. I stood still. I didn't want him to think of me as a crazy stalker.

What felt like ages now, finally his father arrived. I made that my opportunity to leave.

I started walking towards home and a car passed by. I glanced and realized it was him. Zach Frost. There was a small smile playing on his lips. But as quickly it had appeared, it disappeared leaving a blank expression behind.

Why did he have to do that? What was his problem? I did nothing to him. But he still finds a way to show how irritated he is by my presence.

Ugh. I should have stayed home. I will talk to mom. This coaching thing isn't suitable for me.
