Flashback:
"Lan, aren't you excited that we are finally going seeing our idols face to face?!" My bestfriend Hanna asked.
We were lined up in a hall for a fan signing event and we were currently waiting for the members of BTS to arrive for the event to start.
Me and my friend are really big fans of them and all those months prepping and all those late nights working for this very day was finally paying off.
Ten minutes later they arrived.
The crowd started screaming the moment they saw Namjoon's face followed by the rest of the members.
We were currently tenth in the line so we didn't have to wait so long.
Finally it was our turn.
This is it.
I would finally be able to confess my undying love for Yoongi.
After expressing my love and appreciation to the other members I slowly made my way to him.
I got this.
He smiled at me and asked for my name.
"Hi I'm Lana..."
Yoongi smiled and asked some light questions about me to start a conversation.
After a bit of talking I told him I got him something.
"Oh thank you.. What did you get me?"
I pulled out a small box and placed them before him,"This is going to sound weird but this box contains letters that I wrote to you every day ever since your debut back in 2013 and I... I want you to have it." I explained as I pushed the box his way.
When I looked up his face wasn't anything like I imagined his reaction would be.
He looked creeped out but he was trying to hide it.
"T-thank you Lana I appreciate the love and support you have been giving us throught the years... Um, goodbye and thanks again."
"Bye! I love you Yoongi."
He rubbed the back of his neck and said something that I should have expected but it really hurt," Goodbye! Thank you for being such a supportive fan."
I never had a boyfriend and I never had a huge crush on any boy so I didn't have to go through heartbreak and I thought I was so lucky.
Turns out being a fangirl hurts more than anything.
