When Emily drops me off at home, it's already 5:30 pm and the sun is about to set. I quickly go put my clothes away in my room. I need to go for a run,my wolf has been feeling more edgy than usual. For the  past two weeks I've been taking runs in wolf form. It settles her down a bit after hunting. I quickly strip of the clothes I wore to the mall. I change into yoga pants and a large Infinity T-shirt. I want to collect berries when I come from the run.

When I enter the kitchen I find my mom,sitting on dad's lap. It's disturbing how they behave like love struck teenagers. "I'm going for a run and then collecting berries afterwards. I spot a fat cream male rabbit,you can tell he's in his prime. My mouth waters at the site but we want a good chase first. We snap a stick, so they can see they have an audience. The sun has completely set by the time we shift back into our human and get dressed. As I'm walking to wheŕe berries are, I feel eyes watching me but I don't see nor smell anyone. It takes me 15 minutes to arrive at the side of the forest where berries are. I can feel my dad checking if I'm fine after he's done, he leaves me. I close off my feelings and begin picking out berries, starting with more ripe ones.

10 minutes in picking the berries I feel a presence behind me,when I try to turn, hands grip my hips roughly while pulling my pants down. He holds me in his chest "I will be back for you soon. I want you more than life itself. Give me a few weeks and I will come for you I promise." He kisses my forehead, taking a step back and shifting to his Lycan. He gives me one last look then takes off.
Sobs wreck my body and my knees drop to the ground crying for my mate.
