i think we all know it ends with z.
i wish life was like this song, to know our fate.
take me back to the basics.
to learn this song all over again.
instead the letters are unfamiliar faces.
faces that always pretend.
i wish life was as simple as this song.
they don't teach you this in school.
they teach you to overwork until dawn.
working 9 to 5 is the new rule.
i ache for a simpler life.
this is something I crave.
time to write a new song that doesn't contain strife.
a song where I don't conform to norms and become enslaved.
