Simon held the camera up, looking disheveled as Amanda breathed heavily with a newborn on her chest. She had been in labour for eighteen hours with their daughter and she had managed to give birth naturally to the little girl. The midwife had already left the room so Amanda could start nursing the unnamed child.
"We still need a name for her, love," Amanda spoke gently, tracing the child's cheek with her finger.
"How about Jaime?" Simon suggested. "If it's pronounced differently it means I love in French."
"That's perfect for her," Amanda replied, bringing their daughter to her chest as she attempted to nurse. Simon sat down on the edge of the bed and he kissed his wife's cheek.
"I love you, Amanda," he spoke softly as Amanda breastfed.
"I love you too, Simon."
