"Why wouldn't I? I think you're an actual good guy. Most rumors I'd heard about you made you seem scary and a little...on edge. Which I guess today you were, but that doesn't seem like this happens often?" He made the last part a question, hoping the other didn't often punch people in the nose.
"Yes, of course this happens often." He rolled his eyes. "You're my third victim."
"Third times the charm." Hoseok smiled at him. "But I do want to be able to be there for you. At least till you get happier, cause I know how it feels to have no one to talk to after a break up. It really sucks, and it kinda really hurts. So until you get happier, I'll stick around."
"And after I get happy? Then what?"
"Then I'll either stay or leave, depending on what you'd like. I'd understand and accept either choice."
"He's too special...he's probably been hurt before, just like me. Maybe not the same circumstances, but definitely the same pain. I'll accept him."
"You're too nice to someone who just punched you. I hope whoever ends up with you next appreciates you the same way you'll appreciate them." Yoongi smiled a little at him, trying to bring up the sad mood. He made sure not to assume the gender Hoseok might prefer, since he didn't know. He looked around to find the clock tower. "Ah...my job starts soon. I usually have to race from this class to make it on time, but since I have the time I should get going. I'll text you when I have some free time." He stood up and looked to the side. "I'll see you when I see you." He hated saying goodbye.
"Yeah, we'll meet again, I'm sure." Hoseok looked up at him as Yoongi stood up. "Hope you do well today at whatever you do."
Hoseok watched the other male walk away and glance back once. He watched him till he couldn't see him anymore. He then immediately blushed and held his nose again. "He's a lot stronger then I thought he'd be..." He finished his drink, and stared at the can, deciding to recycle it when he got to his apartment. He stood up himself and started walking to his apartment, his mind still on the odd situation, the boy, his nose, and his luck. He had just talked to his crush, and didn't mess anything up.

As Yoongi walked away, he could feel his face flush. He was completely embarrassed at the entire thing. How could he have punched such an innocent soul. He felt so bad, but he also felt lucky. He just met someone very special, someone who had also been hurt it seemed, but had clearly gotten over it and clearly had a happy life now. Maybe he could learn a thing or two from Jung Hoseok. Maybe he could. He walked to his job, hoping he'd be on time this time. A flower shop, very simple, very beautiful, and most importantly very peaceful. This was exactly where he needed to be to clear his mind. It's one of the two places he always went to when he was preoccupied by his thoughts. He walked in, and saw his younger worker, Jungkook. Jungkook was watering one plant, and packing dirt around another at the same time, trying to make himself look cooler then he was. Yoongi sighed but couldn't help but smile a little. "Afternoon." He got behind the counter.
"Oh my god you're here! And on time. Good job hyung." He made sure the dirt was well packed and supporting the flower, then turned and smiled at Yoongi. "Am I allowed to ask why you're here on time?" He started watering the other plants as well. This job seemed to fit him in a weird way. In the way that when he was calm, Jungkook was super focused and it seemed like the flowers and succulents responded to him well. He took care of them, sang to them when he was bored. Yoongi liked watching him work sometimes, because it seemed like it meant so much to Jungkook that it made him like it more too. Yoongi already liked his job, but Jungkook made him love it. That was why he was thankful that he was also an employee, and that Jungkook cared about him.
"I punched some guy in the face so we skipped class and talked a little. So I'm early cause I skipped my class."
"Wait, you what?! Hyung, you know that's not a good way to get rid of your anger. We talked about this."
"I know Jungkook, I didn't mean to. I just- I mean- it just- I didn't mean to. We broke up last night, so I guess I accidentally took out my anger on him. Not entirely my fault?" He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "What am I saying. Of course it's my fault." He always ended up talking to Jungkook about his problems, because he always listened, and never complained.
"Well, I wouldn't blame the breakup on you, just the punch. You said you two talked a little? How did he respond?" He continued to water the plants, petting some of them, and staring at the ones he always admired.
"Hoseok was really happy about it. He didn't complain at all and even asked me to stop apologizing. He's interesting." He took out the paper from his pocket and carefully read the number.
Jungkook looked over. "Wow hyung. A name and a number. Seems like you're doing good." He smiled at his own joke a little.
"Oh come on, he's just trying to help me out."
"In what way."
"In whatever way he wants to. Don't be like that. I don't know if he even likes guys."
"Oh, you skipped right to that hyung. I just meant you two would hang out." He smiled a little.
"Sure you did."
"I'm innocent, don't make me seem like a bad guy." Jungkook smiled more, liking how Yoongi was acting. After a breakup most people would be sulking, hating the other person, or the worst option, hating themselves. But it seems this Hoseok person was different in a way that gave Yoongi hope somehow. Jungkook decided then and there that this Jung Hoseok needed to stay and help Yoongi. He probably wouldn't be able to handle a self hating hyung. "Tell me more about him. Maybe I know him. I know a lot of people."
"Don't go and find him, I don't want to bug him. But he's taller then me-"
"Most people are hyung. Tell me something new." He said plainly, looking fake sympathetic.
"Well I might punch you next at this rate. Just let me explain, you're the curious one. He's taller then me, he's got muscles it seemed, maybe he runs or something, he was wearing sweats. He's got a very welcoming and kind smile. He radiated happiness somehow. His smile was contagious, and his eyes were soft. He didn't seem to judge either. Based everything off of what he saw today rather than listening to rumors, so I liked that. Ah, I'm rambling..."
"No hyung, go on if there's more." He smiled to himself and finished watering the plants. He walked over and sat in the chair next to the counter, watching Yoongi stumble on his words and try to regain his composure.
"...You sure?"
"I'm sure. I'm happy you've found someone interesting again."
"Heh, yeah...he really was too kind. I have some suspicions that he's been emotionally hurt though, which is maybe why he's so kind? I wonder what happened. He was kind enough to give his number, which I mean is a bit forward, but I'm not complaining. I think for once I'm lucky, Jungkook. Jung Hoseok is definitely different."
"I think so too hyung. You can text him if that's what you want to do, but don't get lost in texting him, you do have a job." Jung Hoseok huh...he did know that name, and he planned on doing research tonight.
"One text won't hurt."
